I bet you fast forwarded some scenes which made you miss something important. Xize IS played by other actor, but DJ steals his identity. DJ casts correction spell to modify all people's memory of Xize in Aranya's Dream world. So the white haired man is just fake Xize a.k.a DJ himself.

You MUST forget their story in TMOPB. This drama follow the original book closely (except for the mortal realm arc in ep 9-21, lol) meanwhile their story in TMOPB is actually a spin-off from the original book cause the production team didn't get the copyright to produce it as a drama.
