I read few chapters of the novel and i think i have to stop reading it. This type of story will be boring if i already know what's more likely to happen. I want to enjoy the drama to the fullest coz i like Xiao Zhan so much! ><
typical korean dramas about cold guy x cheerful girl with sick problems. their job/work life & camera filters are the things that makes this drama kinda unique

I mean, they doesn't match to be a couple in modern dramas. Their age gap is showing when they dress in modern outfits. They only look good together cause of character DJ and FJ as immortals where age gap doesn't matter. I've watched Mr. Pride and Ms. Prejudice, Vengo looks like an uncle next to Dilireba. Their douyin video for ELOD promotions also give that vibe, although their height gap is cute.
I never said they had to stick with ancient roles tho. And i never said they looked bad in modern outfits. I hope this time you get my point
They should do a modern take on this dream with the same cast. It is probably easier to do 40 episodes and less…
