On Quaranthings The Series 2 Jan 10, 2022
The first episodes were hard to watch, but episodes 5 and 6 were much better than the previous ones, although I still don't understand why Rocky is so reluctant to accept his sexuality. Some scenes still feel like mere fillers, but finally the plot is taking on some pace. Royce's acting is as good as we know it from him, but Gian Bernardino is turning out to be a decent actor as well. He's a natural for sure.

I agree that it was a promising start, and it does have that ITSAY vibe and cinematography. I'm a little skeptical…
I know. The reason why I'm skeptical is that sometimes the multiple couples prevent the display of the main couple's character development.

So finally all episodes have been subbed. Technically, this series was very weak, especially the sound. The script had some flaws, too. But I still liked it. I like Axl Romeo and RR Roque, so it was nice to see Shakespeare and Inton together again.

One 2 episodes left, and poor Wai is still single. Life can be so unfair.

Although it seems a little rushed here and there, I love this series. The production is good, and all those three guys are pure eye candy, and good actors, too. I think it would work as a movie, too.

That's what I ask myself after every episode: was it worth it? My answer is usually no, because it's basically almost everybody cheating on everybody else, but I still watch the next episode, mainly because of Joss and Chimon.

I'm happy Xiaole finally completed his beautiful little series despite the problems he's been facing in the past months. It's an amateur production, but I can feel that he put his heart and soul into it. I appreciate his personal messages to his fans that explain why it took him so long.

This series is growing on me from week to week. The story is getting more and more exciting, and Nanon was amazing in ep 9. His acting in Bad Buddy and this one proves that he is a brilliant, versatile actor, which can be said about most of the cast of 55:15.

I did the same plus the scene with the lovely dog so the 36 minutes were over before my cup of tea got cold.

You can't really hav a 27-year old actor play a 12-year old - it just makes the character annoying. The next time…
"I think you have to be a virgin cat lady who's never experienced normal day-today life in order to write a BL" - or you have to be a shoe designer producing it. I hope Ron at least got a pair of those fancy shoes.

Have I missed the significance of the shoes? Can someone please remind me?
Shoes are very significant as the series was produced and financed by shoe designer JoJo Bragais.

I'm really enjoying this show. It's a unique story with many funny, ironic moments, like Piphu (Win) teaching Khaotung (Paul) about BL teaching, or Paul/Khaotung meeting EarthMix. So happy that Khaotung can display his talent again after the terrible Tonhon series, but all the cast are doing a great job, especially Kob,

This wasn't a good series, but I don't think it was a complete disaster. If it was, one would remember it, but I guess it will be forgotten soon. The only thing I actually liked about it was Thinnarach and Pumipach's acting in some scenes. I wish for them to get roles in a better scripted and produced series.

I'm watching it because of the previous production, Allen is really hot, although his hair style here is not so…
Clark is a very talented singer/songwriter. His songs are the best part in all three series. I agree with you that Allen's acting was better in PKKT, but he's the hottest of them all for sure. I like Robert and Clark's acting, and LJ and Dave bring in some fresh air, but the main problem is the script which has many flaws (and way too many persons who don't contribute anything essential to the plot), and directing and editing haven't improved much since ODPI and PKKT. Anyway, I like Ranz Gonzales series, because I think they are all trying hard. I also appreciate that they provide us with subs unlike other Pinoy series that promise it and never keep it, and I don't mind if it takes a day or two..

I watched ep 6 although I had sworn I wouldn't, but they said Mario would meet Arnold, and Ron Angeles is always a must for me. But what do we get? Endless nonsensical scenes with that awful girl, and a few minutes of Ron with dyed hair. Argh.

A sweet little love story that made me smile for half an hour. Given that this was produced by a small company with a low budget, acting, cinematography and sound are surprisingly good. It may not be as good as "Love at first sight", but I still enjoyed it very much.
