I agree with most of the criticism here, but I can't help liking this series. I don't know why, and I don't really want to know. Maybe I'm just shallow.
It's a shame that this beautiful series doesn't get more views. The plot is interesting, production good, acting and cast are great - but the timing is bad. GMMTV are airing 5 series now, three of them twice a week, so this one remains completely below the radar. It would have deserved better.
I've liked this show from the moment I watched episode 1, but this episode was so intense that I noticed I stopped breathing at some point. I already know what I'm going to do next week: watch episode 6, and then rewatch the complete series. Probably not just once.
GMMTV are airing 4 series now. "Bad Buddy" is probably the best of 2021, "Not me" had a promising and exciting start, "55:15" has an interesting plot and some brilliant acting - and then there is "Baker Boys" which resembles a cake with just too many ingredients that don't go together.
This was a very disappointing show. I like Gameplay and Best, and Folk seems to be talented, too, but they were given only very few chances to show their skills in this series. The kissing scene, however, was one of the better ones in a Thai show. But still, script and directing were just too weak. At least, it looks like Best is going to get a better chance to shine in "Check out", and I can only hope that Gameplay and Folk will get another opportunity, too.
That was something else! It's really mysterious and I have absolutely no idea what's going on plotwise, but the…
Unfortunately GMMTV airs "Not me" at the same time as "55:15" which is also an unusual and very well acted series starring the like of Nanon, Khaotung and the brilliant Kob, but "Not me" has four times as many viewers. With four series airing at the same time now, it feels a little like an end-of-season sale by GMMTV, although three of these series are really good (when "Baker Boys" imho isn't although even that one is better than many other series).
It's an unusual story, and I really like it. Wonder where it's going, but the first 3 episodes were promising. Acting is very professional and on point. Kaotung and Win could be an exiting couple.
Is my eyes deceiving me, or is that 9.2 rating real? Is everyone seeing the same thing?Of course I am happy if…
MDL's rating is often quite strange, with Thai productions underrated and certain others overrated. But if one series deserves this rating, it is Bad Buddy!
Just finished episode 3. Very appreciative that they have English subs for international viewers. Main criticism…
You name one of the major problems of Ranz Gonzales' scriptwriting, but isn't the bunch of attractive - and some of them also talented - actors Direk Ranz has gathered worth watching them slowly get to the point?
This series has so many flaws that it is hard to watch. But there are 3 reasons to endure the pain: 1. Axl Romeo's talent and looks, 2. Jerald Portugal's beautiful OST-song, and 3. The dedication of the Bright A 3 crew around writers/directors/producers Arn Palencia, Grey Ramos and Allen Lino. As episodes are short, I'll endure the pain.
I laughed at that too. And him offering the rooster as a possible subject for Phap to draw 😂
That's exactly what I thought. It's funny that scenes with animals are the highlights of the series - just think of the legendary flight of the cockroach.
