i think you can notice liu yu ning's improvement because he doesn't act that much as xukai, xukai has improved immensely but since you constantly watch his dramas you can't notice the difference, the only thing that I would point out is that he needs to be picky with scripts and allow himself to explore new roles, if he can just take his time with that he'd grow so much more, but knowing his workaholic nature he probably won't ahahahah
