I can't speak on behalf of other c-drama watchers because, as hard as it is for some non c-drama (especially k-drama) watchers to believe, we don't all think & act alike. But I guess I personally don't get overwhelmed because I don't waste time going around to random non c-drama comments sections asking dumb questions.
That's the whole point. The OP didn't come here to discuss the drama, she came here to just to let us mere mortals know that this drama isn't worthy of her highness.
She herself barely watched the drama (only 1 episode) & even admitted that she hadn't seen enough to give a fair rating. So why the fanfare?
We all drop dramas. But who among us, except for those suffering from delusions of self-grandeur, would come here to tell people they don't know & don't know them that they're dropping the dramas (especially after only one episode)?

If the OP indeed has had "well over" twenty years of experience watching Asian dramas, then she must be a grown-@$$ woman who should've developed higher EQ by now. At very least, she should know better than to throw misogynist insults around so casually.

If I don't like a drama. I'd offer my two cents worth of constructive criticism. I don't make it about myself.
The fact that it seems to escape you why people responded so negatively to your post suggests your complete lack of self- awareness. You don't seem to have an iota of an idea how you come across.

It's unclear why MDL allows users to rate episodes that haven't even aired yet. Does MDL believe in time travel or something?

So basically fifty or so MDL "reviewers" dropped a drama 0.4 points in a matter of hours. That's quite an accomplishment.
Unfortunately, I doubt any of them could even drop 0.4 pounds in a few hours.
