Can I just say that up until episode 22, I'm a little disappointed. From the trailer, I was expecting MRJH to…
they really deceived us with that trailer. not only that, I was expecting something more intricate plot-wise, but they're just... telling us everything lol, there is no intrigue, there are no twists, nothing. the most "intricate" thing in this drama is us trying to decipher the inconsistencies in the characters because the writing is questionable π good drama for people who like romance, but I personally can't even buy into that.
This is my first time watching her drama if am not mistaken, how did I miss out on her πππ.
I can't lie, I hated her character so much in TTEOTM that it lowkey bled into my opinion of her LMAOO ππ I'm keeping an open mind though, I believe she will convince me to change ππ
Could some one novel reader give explanation whether the ending of the drama follow close to the ending of the…
I skimmed the novel, drama ending is much better lol. in the novel ending, ML didn't even know that she died π
he went back to the sword sect. later on, ML's master mentions going to the apothecary valley, and then he casually says like "oh FL is dead, her master took over again". and then obviously ML is sad, but I don't think he actually goes to visit her grave until a few months later
The new schedule:28/10 - episode 2429/10 - episodes 25 & 2630/10 - episode 2731/10 - 2/11 - no episode???3/11…
iQiyi did the same thing with Snowy Night Timeless Love, we had a weird gap in between π maybe bc both dramas have a lower episode count so they're trying to milk it more
Why is Luo Mei so in love with the Crown Prince out of nowhere? It didn't seem like much happened except the confession.
this drama was kinda going downhill for me since the last several episodes, but I think that was the final nail in the coffin π I'm already committed tho so I will force myself to finish it π€
Guyss, just wanna say, it's really not looking good so far. Literally everyone on Chinese media was saying that…
in my opinion, there is no reason to be so afraid of bad/sad endings π as long as they're done well, they can be even more impactful than a happy one
for those worried about the comedy & general lightheartedness, remember the emphasis the trailers, lyrics, etc…
my vague impression right now is that, the lighthearted beginning episodes could be the "dream", aka a time of apparent happiness for everyone (though worth noting that we don't yet know ZYZ's real temperament or motives) but then something will happen to force them all to 'wake up' from that "dream", which is where the promised angst will come in. anyway we've only had three episodes so I'm just bullshitting a little bit, but thought it might be worth sharing. π
for those worried about the comedy & general lightheartedness, remember the emphasis the trailers, lyrics, etc placed on the concept of "dreaming" π
Feels like theyβre taking the shonen anime track tbh. This is how a lot start. Then they gradually become grimmer.
I agree, based on some other angsty xuanhuan/xianxia dramas I've watched, I think it's pretty common for them to start off on a lighter note, so that's not something I'm worried about yet. I actually am enjoying the comedy so far, which I usually don't in cdramas LOL
Chen Duling's characters are usually the more "weak" and "I can't survive, so lemme go find a man to save me"…
this is my second drama of hers playing a bigger role, first one being TTEOTM. she left such an impression on me that my negative feelings are still carrying over from that drama LMAOO, omg I hope it goes away π€£π
