I could be wrong, but last I heard, the novel wasn't even finished
I am not sure what the tag "pre-produced" means on MDL, but I'm going to assume that it refers to a drama that was fully filmed before airing. as opposed to a "live-shoot" drama, which is airing as it is being filmed.
but, if you mean the pre-production stages of the drama (before filming began), they likely just hired someone to write the script & finish the story for the drama. right now there are no writing credits for this drama, so I'm going to assume the original novel author (Xing Ling) might've had some part in it.
I want to know this too...they filmed that a whole 6 months after wrapping filming - never known that to happen??
they recently did something like this with another drama, the double, which had an arguably open ending at first. they filmed the extra episode while it was airing lol. so in this case, likely the ending was something like an open ending and maybe changed it after the sudden influx of open/sad endings lately, dunno. just an idea.
did I see what I see? that he lost control of his bowels due to the venom? OMG if that's true, that is deep gut…
right?? I had to rewatch that moment almost immediately to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in a cdrama before.
This drama should be named ‘Snowy Time Loop Night’ lolAlready more than half way through the show and not…
it is definitely repetitive. but, the joy in this drama is looking out for those subtle changes within the repetition 😊 some of my favorite examples:
ML visiting the inn every time he leaves the valley, staying for longer & becoming more comfortable with each visit.
FL learning to let go of her obsession, leaving the dead tree out on the ice with xuehuai & instead taking care of the living plant that ML gifted her.
and, of course, the slow & beautiful development of the relationship between FL & ML. they may still be using the same excuses (ex. FL talking about his debt), but at this point, they both know that's not what she really means. no words are needed to tell us how much they care for each other, since the evidence is in their actions.
So the guy is alive ? The one who supposed to die in 1st épi, he is cheating with the last chief of the vall,…
that is wrong. the 6th disciple, xu chonghua, is the one who supposedly died (he did not, in ep 18 we see him in the villain sect). the man who married the former valley chief is the 5th disciple, wei fengxing. they are different people.
ML is very skilled fighter, how did he get so easily and seriously injured by two small villians? FL knows ML…
glad I could help 🥰 I don't really have much justification for anything the villain sect does though... they feel like caricatures of villains rather than actual villains lol. not a fan of them.

this drama definitely has some odd points, but I don't really find issue with most of what you mentioned.
it was 2 against 1, even if he's a skilled fighter, he's not invincible (evident by the fact that he's always so beat up when he returns). they found an opening on him while he was already defending himself. eye is also quite a skilled fighter, based on what we've seen in previous episodes.
FL needed her disciple to bring the carriage, which is obviously much slower than a horse by itself. every second counts when someone's life is in danger, so if she had even been a few minutes slower, he could have died. "why bring the carriage if they didn't end up using it?" because they cannot predict the outcome of the situation in advance. they did not know what state he would be in, so it's better to be safe than sorry.
as for ML taking her back instead of her disciple, I'd imagine he is much more skilled at riding a horse than her disciple is. also taking into consideration the added weight on the horse, keeping her body from falling off, etc. he was likely just riding off adrenaline at that point. considering his martial arts, we can also assume his body is just much better at healing or recuperating than the average person.
wow I wrote a lot... 😅 I do wish they would start being more straight forward with each other though. but that's kind of their thing at this point.
but I think the earliest we could possibly see it is in late december of this year.
