Loved her so much in Flourish in Time. Lu Miao and Jiang Haoyue would be always my comfort ship. Found her super…
The first time I saw her in a series (MOGA), I thought "Wow! She's so beautiful!" the moment she appeared onscreen. I thought that she had that kind of classical beauty, like a Chinese painting come to life. And then I realized, hers is that kind of beauty that painters of the past wanted to immortalize in their artworks.
Started this series out of curiosity. Partly because I think it's brave, risky and really just a high risk gamble with the casting choice. And partly because if they could carry the romance storyline without relying too much on the physical aspect, then that would be good writing and execution, and I would really like to see that. Having said that, after 4 episodes, so far, so good. HMH is really good in this and AM has improved so much from the last time I saw her in The Double and Who Rules The World.
Oh, I read about this. But from the comments, I am assuming that his fans are actually glad that he's finally getting away from his agency?? Or more like bittersweet?
hiiiii! i feel for you. sometimes like i wish she would join some big production dramas even in a supporting role…
I always had the impression that she goes for roles and projects for the characters she plays and not necessarily the traffic that the drama would create. From her dramas that I've seen, I feel like she prefers to do roles that differ from her previous roles. I think that has been a good choice for her to show her range and vesatility. But yeah, sure, it would be great for her to do a good role in a big production with higher traffic.
I agree that people have different preferences and can have difference in opinion. And it seems we interpret that comment differently. I don't see it as a criticism of the opinion on the lack of chemistry between the protagonist. I see that comment as a question on labelling the actress better or worse actress because of ones preference. As the original post has been edited, that nuance is no longer reflected. But that has already been clarified and that was not the case at all.
Yes, because I don't see the point of watching something if you don't like the actress and the chemistry between the actor and the actress. You don't waste your time and you don't get stressed about it. As for me, I loved them in Melody of Golden Age and the trailers are looking great so far, so I am excited for this third collaboration between them.
I really hate the plot where the female lead gets lost in the woods and the male lead has to rescue her.On top…
Sure, it was cliche and predictable and yet I really liked how it played out. The body language, his words, the "anger"? The ML actor did a very good job of portraying a man in denial of the fact that he was absolutely worried and scared because he has completely fallen and is completely smitten. Was it the most mature reaction? Hell no. But was it true to his character? Yes. It was also a crack in the ML supposed composed persona, adding an emotional layer to his character.
🍉 Booting Ceremony for period drama Just in Time for Spring (Qia Feng Chun) with leads Deng Enxi and Dong Si Cheng (Winwin) is rumored to be on Wednesday (May 27)!
That was soooo much more romantic than that actual first kiss. 💘
