From the link taken from the poster in Photos, I could find this information:
- This will be the first BL drama from the company "Mu:D" (뮤드) - @makeurdrama on Youtube - who have produced many web dramas from 2020, and short-form dramas for platforms like Vigloo. - Filming should've already started, as they stated filming would start in April on their casting call.
Synopsis: [Yellow Line] the first deeply emotional BL romance presented by Mu:D, is a precarious, enclosed-room cohabitation romance that begins when you encounter the innocent first love of 19 — the one who vanished without a trace the day after your confession — appears as a roommate in a cramped 5-pyeong studio apartment three years later.
Characters:
Seo Haewon (22yo, 2nd Year in Visual Design) - A prickly, impenetrable man who draws strict boundaries and sticks yellow tape in the middle of his room to avoid getting hurt. Due to the trauma of being abandoned by Leejae, the person he trusted most in the world, he has lived a tenacious life, keeping people at bay. However, contrary to his frozen exterior, he is a sensitive and affectionate character who is helplessly swayed once again by Leejae, who suddenly appears and crosses the line.
Jung Leejae (22yo, 1st Year in Physical Education) - A weighty, straightforward man who returns after enduring a hellish three-year hiatus, silently, yet ultimately, stepping over the line Haewon drew. He has a tall, broad physique and a personality like a large, unblemished dog. Despite having hit rock bottom to pay off his family's debt, he possesses a poignant backstory of moving straight ahead again, driven solely by his feelings for Haewon.
Yoon Areum (22yo, 2nd Year in Visual Design) (Supporting Role) - Haewon's classmate and only true friend. Having witnessed firsthand how Haewon collapsed three years ago, she cherishes and tries to protect Haewon more than anyone else. At first, she is wary of Leejae when he appears in Haewon's room and tries to drive him away, but she is the first to recognize Leejae's hidden backstory and desperation. She is a multi-dimensional and charming "refreshing ally" who uses "fact-based violence" to clear the pent-up frustration between the two people who are constantly digging themselves into a hole, helping to advance their relationship.
It's May 30, and I have a feeling it won't release this May unless it comes out tomorrow somehow but if it is being postponed, hopefully it's still good for a June release instead
i've read this manhwa but i don't remember these characters. do i just have a bad memory or its a new plot line?
This is a spin-off based on one of the side characters in the manhwa :) I don't know if you've seen Blueming, but that series was an adaption based on the main characters in the manhwa.
First episode.... Nothing like the webtoon at all!!!To read : https://mto.to/series/83478
Blueming is the direct adaption of the manhwa "Who Can Define Popularity?" if you want to see that ^^ This is a spin-off based on one of the side characters in the manhwa :)

In terms of the manhwa, I only remember Do Bawoo so I don't recall the other characters but it's been a while since I've read it ^^
S1 was a lot better, so I think I'd put it at a 7. The cast chemistry was so good in that season, especially in the second half :)
Also, it's meant to be a short film too.
Reached 19% of its goal :(
