P.O has such a baby face, I am loving his character here - but the moment I saw him, I was like that our Control Zeeeeeeee (from Yumi's Cells). I am loving how he plays such characters and makes them iconic through his acting talent.
I thought this was a new drama but see the article is updated. Nonetheless, I came across this drama cause of this article so win-win. It is not highly rated (I consider 8 and above as good, and instantly give it a try in K-dramas/movies, usually) but still adding it to my PTW.
Somehow after seeing Han So Hee in "World of Married" and at the same time hearing about her issues with Hyeri kind of created a sort of bias in my head and because I abhor anything to do with infidelity/cheating. I should not do that to her as she's just another actress, and therefore I am looking forward to seeing more of her works and this one seems like a new role for her - so genuinely excited. (I know her other works - My Name and Gyeongseong Creature are popular - but it is not a genre/story that I like).
Ju Ji Hoon is one of my crushes - since the old time k-drama "Goong" so always looking forward to his work. He is talented and hot AF; he's aging like a fine wine and cannot get enough of him. So while I hope and wait for new seasons of Kingdom, Blood - I will fill my cup with these works of his.
agreed! first thing that popped in my head BaBi from Yumi’s Cells
Haha - am glad someone else also saw the similarity :) Yoo Babi is my favorite from Yumi's universe, and Jinyoung in general is a good artist that I have followed since long. So immediately I thought of him as he walked in.
As much as I really hate to say it, but I think the whole tax issue over shadowed the promotion. I thought it…
Oh you are right - I have seen some clips where the Director is being asked to comment. What he responded was well-said, while the issue is being dealt with through proper channel - at least the film/artwork should be seen separately as there are other artists' work/hardwork.
I wish more people saw this drama and in fact am not sure if the other movie "The First Ride" was also lacking enough promotions for this tax issue. Both are good works - and I felt one of the best works of CEW too.
For the webtoons, Get Schooled (aka Teach You a Lesson) and Study Group are in a universe called the Blue String…
Thank you so much for sharing. I think I would love to read the work since I have recently got to reading manga/manhwa/webtoons. Are these works complete - I will definitely look them up. Enjoyed Study Group and loving Get Schooled as well :)
wait everything was going so good but that fall in ep3 is so unrealistic ohh please! 😭😭😭
Haha I had the same thought, but I didn't mind it. The main lead is supposed to an OP character; so I enjoyed it as it was cool. Then again I always get pumped up with such shows and storylines and don't mind when reality is bend. Afterall - this is fictional, an idealistic/utopian world which will not exist - but we can simply hope for things to get better.
✌️ Loving this series (So far): It's the weekend - and I just started this drama; 3 episodes down and I am loving every bit of it. It reminds me of Study Group (I want to know how it is a shared universe), Trauma Code (the nurse there is the ML's fiancee here) and also one of the episodes of Taxi Driver. Basically where the main lead is an OP character and doing things that are right. Loving the social commentary - it is quite need of the hour - though very idealistic, I wish measures are taken IRL. I love all the main 4 leads - have known them from quite long to be talented and diverse actors/actress. It's good to see them in action. I feel I am going to binge this one quickly!
✌️ Study Group - Ga Min's Uncle's Role*** I know another actor has been announced, but when I was first seeing Study Group (have not read the manhwa) - one of the actors I imagined as the ML's uncle was "Kim Mu Yeol". I guess while he is not the uncle but he's in this role and it does make my theory come to life in a way - action sequence wishlist completed!
***Others were: Ji Chang Wook, Ju Ju Hoon (if younger) or Park Hyuk Kwon, Gong Yoo (if slightly older). I felt they all will give off the goofy vibes but be insane fighters like Jackie Chan, who does effortless fighting.
What an amazing drama - highly underrated I feel cause I don't see many discussing or recommending this drama. I personally feel this is a must watch and it is going in my hall of fame of 2026 for sure.
One observation for those who finished the drama: Aren't some of Lee Un Jeong's (Cha Eun Woo's character) scenes similar to X-Men's Jean's?
I have seen X-men a long time ago, but I have a feeling some scenes are really similar especially in last 2 episodes - (1) when he is fighting Gravity (Kim Pal Ho) and focuses on his powers so everything rises/levitates and then there's a blast-off (2) the bullet reverse scene in Ep 8? Possibly because their powers are same (telekinesis) but I just wanted to ask here - if anyone remembers the X-men movies and scenes.
Lee Si Won is giving me Park Jinyoung vibes - especially his lower half of the face.
Not starting this yet, want it to air some more episodes. But I just checked out the first episodes' first 20-25 minutes when they all gather, to see the guys that are appearing on the show 😅
I have not seen the Japanese version, but just reading the given drama-premise; it is giving me female-version vibes of "Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" :)
I am yet to begin this drama, but while typing "Reborn..." in the search bar of my drama-watching website, I came across another J-drama, "Reborn (2026)" is the title. It is quite similar to this drama - basis the synopsis and yet different.
He is really good but underrated. Waiting for that one role that will catapult him to the "sought after ML" list. I have seen many go from support to main roles "Byeon Woo Seok", "Lee Jun Young" and "Shin Hae Sun" - seeing their journeys from the start as I started my own K-entertainment watching. So eagerly waiting for him to be a main male lead soon! 🤞🤞🤞
Lee Jun Hyuk as a priest is looking so good. How does this man look good in every role. I remember the first time I saw him in City Hunter, and I glad I did and took notice of him since then. Wonderful actor, and damn, he is so FINE! 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜
I loved the show - but I thought the story was complete, what are they going to share in S2, I wonder? I hope they bring the rest of the cast back as well - they were great ❤️
I am loving that we are getting so many projects of her. Excited to see this, given her talent - I think she will be able to pull this off very well. That agony that is needed when you're torn between which side to take, she's going to nail it!!
He's extremely talented - deserves all the love. Can't wait to watch this movie once it airs in my region - the story seems interesting, and it stars another favorite of mine along with SakaKen, the legend - Ken Watanabe! 🫶
- From another iconic character, Veronica Park 🤪

Just a random comment - how 2 similar titled and story were airing at almost similar time/year.

Thank you still, for sharing :)
