What the Pyuntae! What the Pervert! I love how this phrase is on everyone's lips - us and every character in the show 😂😂😂
Also, What the Emotions - was this Ep 6 🥹
This drama started as a carefree, hilarious adventure, but with each character, it's peeling back layers that add real depth to the story. I love when a show can balance humor with meaningful storytelling, and this one is doing it beautifully—keeping things light while weaving in powerful messages. It’s the perfect mix of fun and thought-provoking moments!
What the Story! ❤️ What the Acting! ❤️ I hope more and more people start watching the show, and honestly the ratings must be raised! This drama till now is clearly at least 8/10 and I can foresee that it will end higher, for sure!
What the jjajangmyeon! I love LJY’s gummy smile and his role in this drama, he’s so funny being a hard guy…
Oh absolutely - as someone who's personally struggling with health/fitness issues while balancing life's demands I can totally relate with the FL. Just need to build the mindset and get a trainer like LJY! Hahaha, but yes the message is amazing - one, that our bodies reflect everything we are going through, and we need to remember to be kind to it - not under any kind of external pressure but to do it for ourself.
And yes, LJY - omo! that man is so damn talented - i love him in his deranged psycho roles, i love him in his puppy love roles and now I love him in his psycho trainer but cute puppy role - what can this man not do!! His funny muscle poses ( and am assuming they have used shoulder pads for him like in rugby) and the funny way of speaking english is super hilarious!
We will reach the half-way mark for this drama with Ep 6 airing soon, can't wait to see what happens in the second half and finale.
And most importantly - what other new words can be attached to our now favorite catchphrase - WHAT THE ....
Ep 5 - Baby repeating "Shall We Get Started" and Jun Young's smile - OMO OMO OMO! It is like Love and Leashes character all over again, this man makes me go crazy for him no matter the role.
Firstly - love the DP, Wolf <3 Lee Jun Young! Second - Regarding the Ratings, it could be cause of: [1] This drama's theme - comedy that is unhinged/unserious might not be for everyone. It might seem bizarre to some, but some will love it and slap the table laughing at it (like me) [2] Not many people have watched it, or are updating the ratings. OR maybe someone dropped it with initial episodes. [3] Not sure but the low viewership could also be cause it is a Weekday airing (Wed/Thu) and not Weekend airing drama?
I know when you love a show, or can see potential in it, and it has low ratings, it feels unjustified. But we cannot do anything about it - and should understand, as everyone has their right to express.
So for the time being - those who are watching the show and love it, can simply share the honest views about it and spead the word. Maybe that will help more people watch and like it, and others who tried will reattempt to watch.
My Recommendations (Till Ep 5) - WHAT THE AMAZING DRAMA it is! If you are not looking for anything serious but just want to enjoy over-the-top kind of comedy that will definitely make you smile or snicker (the good way) then do give it a try.
P.S. I have seen many dramas have a better rating in latter half or on completion. I can't remember it well but I think both Trauma Code and Study Group also had mixed reviews but in the end the rating is quite high. On the other hand I know there are gems in J-Dramas that should be a 8-9+ but are always getting stuck at 7.5-7.8 scores. So in the end it is all about giving it a try yourself and finding the gems!
this drama is so unhinged and funny - and Lee jun Young's dialogues in English and the What the series are the main reason I am watching this drama!
What the FAT! What the CHOJANG! Call me 911, Please! What the SOJUUUUU!!!
I just can't - this man in too much, my jaws are hurting - in a good way! Also what the BODYSUIT is he wearing! And what the ZUMBA did he do!!!
This drama was much needed in my otherwise bleak week! Love for Jun Young, just grows and grows - that gummy smile that can either be cute or creepy depending on the context. This guy is such a powerhouse of talent!
Also the FL - this is my second time watching her, and I love her. Both her roles have been very bubbly (I saw her in Miss Day and Night) and she reminds me of Jin Ki Joo at times. I will definitely see more of her work for sure.
And yes, can't wait for the drama to tune up the romance - these two will be a riot! XD WHAT THE FUNNY DRAMA!
I am guessing it will not be a continuation of the same story - but rather another storyline, with similar themes of time travel/body swap. Cause Season 1 (as they are calling it) was complete in itself.
But the description "Reborn Rich Season 2 will explore the success, love, and power struggles of its main characters in an international corporate environment. It plans to capture an expanded world view with new characters and narratives" is CONFUSING.
"....of its main characters - with new characters and narratives"? Like some old characters will be there but i think it will be a completely new storyline with same theme of chaebol family/power drama, body swap and time travel.
I loved Reborn Rich - and while I wanted a different ending and more of the grandpa/grandson moments, it was a fitting and logical ending. any extension currently isn't fitting in for me - but lets see what they come up with...
2025 - still wondering where can i watch this? Why is it so hard to get good subs and variety of platforms to air j-dramas T_T End up missing so many of them.....
[1] I really hoped the Hell episodes would last longer LOL. Guess, I was right for someplaces in my last theory…
That is quite plausible. In fact given that in the last episode there has been so much stress about how some rich brat had been evading the police and laws (and ultimately his car was exploded) - I have a feeling Somi could have been either directly or indirectly related to NJ's accident.
Like either she was a rich woman and in drunken stupor (she was drinking in a bar that had the Hawaii theme and hence the imagery) and she hits Nj. Or she was with someone (the person that NJ is trying to look for) and she was probably fighting with him and she turned the steering wheel in anger causing the accident - or she just kept quiet when accident occured.
OR she was someone who was being beat up by her abusive husband/partner and NJ stopped it, which led to his accident from the jealous husband/partner (assuming it is the police guy NJ is looking for) and Somi remained quiet. She perhaps killed the guy later on and which is why she was Hell bound.
in all cases she is both guilty and saved by NJ - like maybe she was supposed to die in all scenarios but the accident saved her life, at the same time made her fall to nj in gratitude as well as become a sinner. Hence she probably might be a Unclassified - hence she was bound for hell, but is not really a bad person...sorta
[2] Finally a mention of Nak-Joon's family, and I love the actress playing the MIL. Can't wait to see it next week. AND we also got to know that Hae-Sook and MIL did not like each other.
[3] Som-i is such a big mystery! Who is she, and what is the whole Hawaii/beach vibe?
[4] Looks like Hae-Sook does owe someone a lot of gratitude. Her remark was casual as she was collecting her own gratitude brownie points - but maybe she's indebted to someone? Currently, I am guessing - its either Pastor (who's becoming like a son to her) or Som-i given they have some connect.
[5] Pastor's past is also a mystery - did he come to heaven at the age of 5? I got confused what he meant.
[6] The whole dog's adventure to hell was so heartbreaking. Animals really are the purest souls.
[7] Why is Young-ae smitten with the Heaven's President? LOL - this is going to be either cringe or super funny
It could be a very small epilogue in the end, and cameo/guest appearance by someone and hence not announced yet?
Or yes, maybe Nak-Joon would change his age to an older age. Or they would realise they love each, no matter what their outer appearance/age is. Or re-incarnate again and both will be young new actors shown.
Yes, currently with what we have been shown, we cannot relate who Som-i is, if she is from the living world and is related to Hae-Sook and Nak-Joon, for them to feel a pull towards her.
Given that we have not yet seen Nak-Joon's family, why do I feel Som-i could be Nak-Joon's mother or step-mother (or maybe father side) and had a hand in his accident, because she disapproved of Hae-Sook. It is a little far-fetched, but pausible if they show us more about their relationship with other folks in their younger years.
I love how this phrase is on everyone's lips - us and every character in the show 😂😂😂

Reminds me of the iconic - "Gwenchana, Gwenchana"
WHAT THE is just so great, and rolls off the tongue so well 🤣🤣🤣
It is like Love and Leashes character all over again, this man makes me go crazy for him no matter the role.
WHAT THE HEARTTHROB! ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎

literally the backpackers theme song is playing in my head right now - with that whistle start!
