Already love the Blue Stahli type music and I could watch War run in slow mo with an angry expression forever. Edit: Ooooh no no no this is way too good, I have to wait till everything is out or my blood pressure will pierce the roof.
Last couple of episodes went a bit off track but overall this was decent? How come I never stumbled upon it before?? Was highkey rooting for intern Sangwoo though oops. đ¤Ą
It got me ugly sobbing over a burger patty so it must have done something right. ă ă My only complaint is too much miscommunication, not enough affection! Why adapt a BL *romance* if the characters will act like friends at best?
The problem is, that there are a lot of younger people who like what GMMTV does, while older folks have more (watching)…
There was, in the beginning at least, a group of die hard Bible fans who accused anyone who said anything negative about the series to be Build fans who were hating and downrating on purpose. They fought with a couple of unhinged commenters to the point that the comment section was unusable.

âthere are a lot of younger people who like what GMMTV does, while older folks have more (watching) experience and are more criticalâ
It all boils down to this. And seeing your opinion be dismissed if itâs anything other than lauding with arguments such as âyouâre just a hater/troll/fan of so and so shipâ is getting old. I had the problem in the MLMU and 4Minutes comment sections as well. Also, people obsess over MDL ratings too much.
I was going to wait until all episodes are out, as I do with series I'm excited for, but the comment section got…
Parts that ticked me off:
- Clumsy exposition/foreshadowing (the actor suddenly offering to work with real guns and Min saying "no I can't, who will take care of my brother?", the explanation as to why Min's brother is in an expensive hospital, etc.) - Min, on the brink of financial ruin, somehow lives in a big house. - Upbeat music that changes every few seconds (for the iPad kids, I guess) or out of place comedic music and sound effects. - Repeating the scene where Min and Q bump into each other 3 freaking times from different angles like it's an Indian soap opera. - Min asking what the job is after accepting the money like my guy it's too late for that. - Min growing a conscience about the whole thing because he heard the rich asshole play guitar once. - Rich heir getting smashed alone. - Ridiculous rope work that almost fell in their struggling scene but then is magically back in place a second later. - The client transferring the money without seeing a body (I might be proven wrong in the next episode for this one). - From the preview, MinQ's relationship will evolve way too fast.
There is no huge sin here but it cheapens the show overall.
The things I liked:
- Brothers look like brothers. - Pulling the sweater thread was cute. - Petty bickering from the get-go between the leads. - Papang in a villain role. - Leng doing ok for a first time (except the drunk act, and no you don't walk like that when you're drunk, you might feel like you do but you don't.) - Q giving out the roses to weirded out people, was cute and funny. - The plot in general is still a good idea, I just wish they executed it a bit more realistically (no, I don't mean "like Kinnporsche" I mean no illogical (re)actions from characters).
It's still okay-ish so far, but I was expecting higher quality in general given it's Ohm's big BL comeback and so far he always acted in decent works. Now I'll wait until all episodes are out because, who knows, things might improve along the way.
I was going to wait until all episodes are out, as I do with series I'm excited for, but the comment section got me curious. I'm way too old to partake in idiotic ship wars or whatever you call that and OhmNanon was an okay couple but I don't miss it so don't even try to come for me. Maybe the first ep is just objectively not that good and thatâs ok, no need to take it personally.
I'd like to know what's going on with GMM, they used to have works like NOT ME, now they just have these forgettable…
GMMTV really has been dropping the ball in general recently, going back to desultory plots, cheap editing and first take acting. Itâs the case even with trendy actors (My Love Mix Up) and famous, talented ones (Dangerous Romance, Kidnap). I hope itâs just a slumâŚ
I was going to wait until all episodes are out but the comment section is such a mess of paranoia, denial and bad faith on every sides that I have to check it for myself.
Edit: Ooooh no no no this is way too good, I have to wait till everything is out or my blood pressure will pierce the roof.
