I'm dumbfounded by the stupidity of some people (all offense intended) because how do you watch these two episodes…
It’s just B- grade ragebait and people whose frontal lobe isn’t developed enough to write constructive criticism/think with nuance yet. I don’t know why people bother engaging with it. Like I’m not a fan of the Korn sex scene either but it doesn’t spoil the whole series.
That Lee Hongjo guy put all the blame on Hanna in the last episode, implying she was wavering quickly when he was the one spending entire nights laughing with another woman. He also gave her/her reading the burden of the choice so he can avoid all responsibility and won't look like an asshole for ditching her, when really the only alternative he's giving her is "I'm picking you only because it's fate even though I almost ignore you the rest of the time and am confrontational every time we speak". What manipulative scum.
Meanwhile, Iyul is a zen master and deserves all the good things in the world, seriously. I almost want him to get out of that show single so he can meet someone as balanced, mature and kind as him.
Interesting that I immediately got bad vibes from Hongjo from the beginning of the first episode and good ones from Iyul despite him getting virtually no screentime.

Ok, now that I'm over the shock:
Yes, this isn't perfect. Some of the background characters' acting is not good and some actors don't look convincing in their profession, for instance. However, there was a real effort done with the cinematography (every shot is interesting for different reasons) and Bible acting as practically the opposite of Vegas' character is killing me. His reactions feel so natural yet slightly different than what you usually see , very subtle yet you can't miss it... love it.
I personally think it was clever of them to blow all the budget on the first CGI sequence to have at least one beautiful one then tone it down for the rest of the series. I prefer that over mediocre ones all throughout. I could have done with a slightly less explicit NC scene, though, or maybe shot in another way than just plainly in your face. Not gonna lie, I was slightly uncomfortable, and I'm usually the first one to applaud when characters are passionate.
I'm so, so happy we get to watch BL with such a budget, as small as it relatively may be, and darker themes on top of the romance. When your thriller/mystery addicted ass has digged for unsubtitled crumbs of low budget, weird hairdo-riddled, corny Japanese BL 20+ years ago, this in contrast feels like heaven.
Now to wait until all episodes are out otherwise I'll end up in that doctor's research box as another cardiac arrest patient!

Good acting, decent production, even the music is fine... but then it's wasted on typical miscommunication and misunderstandings. However! The actor playing Yuki was unbearably satisfying to look at and his acting was on point, and don't get me started on KissxKissxKiss' Nagumo Shouma... (loved that he "subtly" made the couple jealous and ruined the BTS take where they got surprised during an intimate moment by the way, he's such a cheerleader).
Vie cracks me up so much. Love how the actress playing her hams it up just the right amount. Her kiss with (still as annoying as ever) Mook is the first non-BL kiss I don’t skip in a BL. Apart from that, the series unfortunately doesn’t manage to hold my attention much.

The actress playing Meena is incredible for her age and I love Vie’s manipulative ass hahaha. Mook’s a bit over the top but I’m still on board with their couple. The actress playing Vie is actually also quite good and her French was not even cringe, props to her!
They are 100% going to leave some bromance crumbles here and there to attract the Kim/Porchay fans but I can't even get mad at them. Fingers crossed this is Strangers From Hell 2.0 and it gets a ton of popularity.
