I agree, Gawin's acting was awkward. He didn't walk like a drunk, he walked like someone badly imitating a grandpa or a zombie in a B movie. And his expression looked more bored/blank than inebriated/desperate most of the time. Like you said, Krist's acting wasn't remarkable either. It might be because it was their first "intimate" scene (depends on the order in which they filmed them) and that made them stiff. I skipped the scene with Max and, now that you mention it, it might have been a subconscious reaction to awkward acting...

The pairing... works?? Krist's overacting... works?? What is this sorcery??? The only thing I'd throw out is the music and Gawin's acting when he's drunk. That was overacting but in a bad way. I hope my heart survives all that breaking for Pisaeng... this is getting dangerously close to Noh Shinwoo in Light on Me and Third in Theory of Love levels of pain...
