They needed the time to heal and grow. Yes, can't wait to see them together again. It's been a long time since I got so hyped seeing a drama couple but they are just so cute and adorable together with all their little gestures.

WY's mother had issues, her daughter said she wanted to decide her own life and she equated that to cutting ties with family. But on her prejudice against NQ, since she hadn't met him and it seemed WY hadn't tried to appeal NQ to her mother after that visit, so she still only had her own assumption. Anyway, they all need to talk more about the important things. Also their timing, it's the worst.

I agree, they both aren't in their right mind at the time. He realised his mistake soon after, though, it's just that their timing is bad and they couldn't talk at all. The father had to go into surgery and WY spent the whole night sleeping in a rooftop with a broken heart, ignoring the world. I thought she would soften up seeing him waiting for her, but I guessed by then, instead of a clear head, her guilt and hurt had already multiplied.

Some men are like that and as I said earlier, am of the opinion that she made the first move to approach the father.

I always thought she's around his age or a few years older, but maybe you are right that she's younger than him. Not to mention that she's the father's third wife.

Yes, they were friends but given his animosity towards her I assumed there's something more happened between them, more than her marrying his father. Right, let's see if they will explain more on this week's episode.

Exactly. And I suspected he used to have feelings for her, but she's such a two-faced woman. The way she comes to visit, saying she's happy for him but then insinuating if he doesn't go for the surgery it'd affect WY's happiness then telling him to not become a laughing stock. NQ should have turned her out at the door.

It's not very obvious in the drama, but I think ML did have feelings for the stepmom in the past but judging from her attitude towards him, she didn't see him as a possible partner in a relationship and maybe that's the cause for their fallout as well. I'm assuming she used ML to get close to his rich father.

the mother might started this, but the stepmom delivered the finishing blow on NQ’s end that led him to doubt himself and WY, he looks more rattled after her visit than after WY’s mom’s call.

I guess so, yeah.. was just in need to let that out lol It's been awhile since I watch these type of romance drama, surprised that I got so invested.

I wasn't aware that there's gonna only be one episode for this. I heard it will take some time before the main cast could film for another sequel, now, I'm torn whether to watch it now or later.

Watched Nam Da Reum on DAYS and he was super cute so I decided to check this one for more of him. The episodes are so short I regreted starting them now when they are only updating once a week. Gonna wait until October to continue.

IIRC, FL did mention the friend who died in her sophomore year and how Yi Jin's song comforted her through her grief. I haven't read the novel, but I'm looking forward what this will reveal for FL in the upcoming episodes (if any). On the ML, can I ask if he also went on to take over his family business in the novel or is this another part that is changed for the drama version?

i gathered it's a big plot twist, i've read bits and pieces on twitter, but wondered about the details. i guess i'll just wait for it to come up on the show. thanks anyway.
