ah so this is set in a fictional country in west Africa. but some of the stories was based on the real experience of Chinese doctors who went to some African countries during the Ebola outbreak
i do enjoy period dramas, but not the korean ones. while i know they have different periods of dynasty. The difference to me wasn't that prominent in terms of the clothing. Compared to chinese, the difference between one dynasty and the other dynasty can be seen just by their clothing, the ones from Tang Dynasty will surely looks different than the ones from Qing Dynasty. I purely watch period dramas not bc i like history that much. i just love the ambiance, the costumes and the forehead of the male main lead. 90% of the times those actors look more handsome in wuxia and xianxia.
i watch this without knowing anything and i was like "yeah, how sad can it be?" and i ended up crying my eyes out towards the end like. i rewatched this and everything zsc and sy did in this drama is pain. i immediately watch the modern drama and loving allllllllllll the parallels
it's not about religion, please don't be sinophobic. reincarnation is not scientific thus they banned it. They don't want feudal believe to be on screen. it's not like religion is banned in China.
ah so it is kdramas.... there's so much sports drama in china too. from ping-pong, GO (that chess kinda thing) ice skates, ice hockey and even e-sport.
My delulu ass when the episode where shiyi brought a baby to see zhou shengchen, omg this could be a very good AU where he just won a war, came home after monthsss and his wife is holding their newborn.
i couldn't continue watching after that dude willing to gave up/lose to win his ex gf heart. it's just too cringe for me. at least in gank your heart the dude didn't spend much time for his attention seeker ex gf and ditch esport competition.
