i spent the past two days watching various videos made by stephanie soo, david zhang and china insider on yt about yu menglong's tragic death. there were too many things going on and it was more complicated and more nefarious than i could ever imagine. the whole thing is just so dark, monstrous and crazy that it's seems unbelievable but the reality is that these twisted maleficent devil doppelgangers exist and they have been committing heinous crimes but are able to roam freely around the world because they have the money, the power and the connections. i hope every single person that was involved in this dies in the most painful way soon. it's scary that they dare to do this to a well-known person with a huge audience, now imagine what they do to regular people, he's not the first victim and probably not the last unfortunately. you just feel devastated and powerless because it's done and over and you can do nothing about it. i hope people don't forget this so that it may lead to a change. may his soul rest in peace and may his loved ones find the strength to endure this great pain and i really hope they are safe. 🙏🕯

loved the plot and how it was told it was super hilarious and sad at the same time it was the first time i saw sth that had islamic/religious references that i actually liked and no it was not disrespectful and it's not sth that has never happened, there are thousands of books, series, movies, animes about angels and satan... everybody and their mama's mad just because they used the islamic names, if they can use the names in other religions then they can use these too it's not that deep
oh and i liked that they showed that arabs were slave owners... they have invaded, looted many countries and murdered, raped and enslaved so many people... but nobody talks about it anymore
had a really hard time watching this had high expectations but… started it because of chen feiyu but couldn’t even finish it because of him imo he’s not a demon lord with long hair material… he looked out of place my first time watching wang yinglu and just no sorry honey and that damn snake... if i knew there was a huge ugly ass snake is in it i would've never watched it 😭 the first few eps were ok and kept my attention but the overall plot was not interesting or that new maybe xianxia with all that cultivation bs is not really for me 😭
