Even though it's gross, this drama is extremely informative. Surprisingly my favorite here is Park Min Young. I think this is her best performance so far. I mean, I liked her in City Hunter too but mostly I was all, "LOOK IT'S LEE MIN HO! IT'S LEE MIN HO!! *__*" So yeah. I simply loved her character here. In the beginning I found Jaejoong's role pretty stiff but I loved the direction in which his character developed. As for Dr Jin, Of course he's awesome! Loved all side characters - the psychic gisaeng, that guy who's in every freaking drama, and the future king and the future king's dad. Of course the evil guy from Moon Embracing The Sun was there. Hated his character equally here. Overall, an amazing drama which makes me want to pursue medicine. But too late for that. lol.

I've been looking forward to this movie since last year but just couldn't get my hands on it. Ady An (loved her ever since Autumn's Concerto) in fairly-romantic movie with Jackie Chan's son. Man, what a disappointment. The story was so unoriginal. Just like romance genre, action has it's own set of cliche settings and this movie covered most of them. This movie tried to be funny, but I barely laughed. The humor was almost forceful.

Coming to acting. Ady An did a great job. She (along with a few other actors) did a decent job. Unfortunately the movie wasn't centered around her. It was centered around Jaycee Chan and the guy needs some serious acting lessons. I mean, I get it. He has been brought up under the limelight. It's rather challenging to surpass the great Jackie Chan but this guy really needs to pause, think, find his own thing and do it. Because he cannot act.

The bgm and soundtrack was nice, but I'm never watching this movie again.

This drama started as a perfect 10 for me. It was so good and Lee Jong Suk's acting is amazing! It was going great until around ep 13-14 when the plot began to drag. I only continued to watch to see if my ship would sail (it didn't T-T) and each week the twists started getting predictable and annoying and the plot became pointless. The only thing that kept this drama afloat in my opinion was Lee Jong Suk and Kang So Ra. Both are fab actors, who feel wasted on this plot. I have loved Park Hae Jin ever since I watched him in My Daughter Seoyoung and he was adorable in My Love From The Stars. His role here as Jae Joon was somewhat different from his other works and I did like his character on and off. I haven't liked Jin Se Yeon ever mostly. The love-plot was annoying. I usually ship the right couple but when I'm wrong, it just depresses me like nothing else. And I was so wrong here, even though all the hints were right there! I loved the water girl (Bora from SISATAR!) and the pervert doctor. They made such a cute couple. Sort of made up for the ship-wreck. The music was pretty good. I have some songs from the OST on my phone already.

Overall I would give it an 8 despite popular hatred towards this drama because even though I didn't like it towards the end, I absolutely loved the first ten episodes and if the writers hadn't messed up afterwards, this one would've probably been the best drama of 2014.

What I really loved about this drama was that there was no distracting background music. Don't get me wrong - I'm like the biggest fan of Korean OST. But the change was pretty refreshing. Eun Chan is the most brutally honest character I've come across till date. Han Gyul is super cute with his forever-amused face which completely lights up around Eun chan. And that dimple/wrinkle on his face is pretty hot. I love the whole supporting cast of Coffee Prince. Can't pick one. Their chemistry is sizzling from the very beginning.

Special credits to the hotties of Coffee Prince. I would love to work in a Coffee house one day! ^^

For a while now, no drama has motivated me enough to review it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I have watched some really amazing dramas (like Tonbi and cruel city). But with Bromance I am suddenly inspired to break my dry spell. It's not even like I want to fangirl over it or I believe it to be the best drama I have ever watched. It didn't even make it to my favorite's list. But despite being average, it made me think of it for a while.

All of us know a girl pretending to be a guy and a handsome man going gay for her is probably one of the most recurring and unoriginal plot in dramas. Granted, the reason for Yanou's gender-bender ways was different from the usual ones. But still, Bromance was full of typical gender-bender stock scenes and cliches.

What made this drama special, was the way the sexuality of the male lead was handled. His affection for his sworn brother transcended beautifully into love and the issue was handled so delicately, it simply made the whole experience amazing. Du Zi Feng's acceptance of his sexuality and acknowledgement of love and attraction as something that crosses boundaries of gender, was beautiful. He sent a strong message that sometimes, love is not about the person being male or female but simply, a person you have come to love. It felt like a subtle protest against the segregation of human beings based on these terms and that simply made me love this drama. People surrounding Zi Feng and Yanou were also extremely supportive and wonderful.

Coming to the cast, Megan was so flawless while portraying a guy. Everything from the way she walked to the way she talked, you could get a dude-vibe from her. I have never seen a girl playing a guy act so realistically. Good acting from her. In fact, the female cast did a fab job altogether. From the moms to the sister to the cousin and everyone else, the female cast had a strong presence in the show.

Coming to the male lead. Honestly, Baron Chen's acting is mediocre but he has really great screen presence, which worked for the show. The character of Zi Feng was certainly the most interesting in the show. Besides being overly handsome, he was so kind, caring and open-minded, it made him all the more attractive. I don't remember him being a jerk even for a second. These kind of sweet and gentle male leads are rare (let's face it, dramas generally have jerks and bullies as leads, however much we love them). He never blamed his homosexual feelings on Yanou, which truly earned him extra points.

The music was really good. And the rewatch value for this show is pretty decent too because the two leads have great chemistry and many cute scenes together. The sub-plot is also pretty interesting. Bromance is definitely among the best Taiwanese dramas of 2015!

I have watched the first movie and the second one is a continuation. I liked this movie too just like the first one even though it worked very differently from what I had expected it to be. It was different but still the ending and the plot overall was satisfactory. It did make me laugh a lot. The best part about the movie is the acting. The actors have great comic timing especially Joker. The actor is too good for words.

Wow, 2011 had some really good dramas. Secret Garden, Dream High, Greatest Love, Scent Of A woman, Lie To Me, Protect The Boss. And now 49 days. I loved it! The two lead characters - Ji Hyun and Yi Kyung - were amazing.Their chemistry was really good. And it was so sweet of Ji Hyun to take care of Yi Kyung (even if as a ghost possessing her body:P) when she felt so alone and unloved. The scheduler was cute and hilarious (note to self: volunteer to become a scheduler after dying and get that cool cellphone he had). Han Kang was sweet, but a little awkward in a high school uniform x). I HATED MIN HO! Ugh, why did they name his character Min Ho? Totally ruining Lee Min Ho's name -.- And I did not feel sorry towards him in the end. No freaking way. In Jung was pretty annoying too. But, yeah, she came around. And Nam Gyu Ri makes a really spooky ghost. ^^

One of the most exciting dramas I've come across till date. It kept me glued from the very first moment, making me wonder who the k-guy was. Background music gave me goosebumps.

But frankly I felt Jin Gook and Hye Mi looked so much better together. I didn't even CONSIDER the possibility of Sam Dong and her together until the second last episode or something. Ending was sweet, but incomplete.

Nevertheless, one show I want to go watch again and again (last time that happened with You're Beautiful).
Pil Sook and Jason were adorable together.

special credits to Teacher Kang's noona's drinking habits, the english teacher's dancing skills, The loan shark's creepy, sudden appearances that beats the shit out of anyone and everyone and the american teacher's hairclips. LOL. Super special credits to Taecyeon and his cute, dorky ears. I can't wait to see him in a drama where he finally gets the girl ^^

This one is a classic you guys. A must watch!

When I first heard about this drama, I was kind of annoyed by the title. I mean, 'the girl who sees smells'? Didn't work for me at all - the title. I still prefer calling it sensory couple. Makes more sense (I swear no pun intended). But thankfully it's one of those never-judge-a-book-by-it's-cover dramas and it was good.

The story is a good one, it keeps you in suspense for a long time. But at the same time the conclusion is disappointing. It didn't get draggy for me, but it got a little predictable. I wish there was something more about Kwon Jae Hee's back story, his reasons. Something shocking, some kind of a connection that brought the whole story in a full circle. But it just fell flat in that department. There were cute scenes to devour and Officer Choi's comedy skit was hilarious. I still laugh.

Coming to characters, my favorite was Elena Vashilivnashivanova. Lol, okay. Just Kidding. But I liked her for someone who only appeared once (minus the contact log). I was so happy she was real! But I think my favorite was Lt Yeom. She was smart and beautiful. Her ideas were spot-on most of the time and I ended up loving her more than the main couple or any other character.

Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung. Like, what's with people hating on Shin Se Kyung all the time? I think she was great here. I mean, I guess she picked a lot of bad roles before and I've never watched them but they were just bad choices, doesn't make her a bad actor or anything. She did a good job here. Yoo Chun was great here, although I'm still hunting for a drama where he surpasses his role from Rooftop Prince. That one was epic.

The rest of the cast was great. The police force was a little incompetent at times but they got it going in the end and well, they were funny so I don't really dwell on their stupidity. As for Kwon Jae Hee. He was such a genius character in the beginning, but I just don't know what happened to his character in the last three episodes. I wish they'd done something more interesting about him.

The music was very cute. Especially that song called Confusing. It just calms my nerves whenever I listen to it in the car. Very soothing vocals.

Overall, everything about this drama simply shouts out 8. Amazing in some parts, disappointing in some parts but overall a drama I don't regret watching and looked forward to every week.

First of all, I must mention that I'm a HUUUGE fan of Devil Beside You and I have watched it more than once. After watching it, Mike He instantly became one of my favorite Asian drama actors. As for Rainie Yang, although I found her really annoying her other dramas like Drunken to love you and ToGetHer, she was simply amazing in Devil Beside You. OK, now I'll stop talking about DBY since this is a review for Why why love :P

Why why love could be a reincarnation of characters from DBY. Or at least an unofficial sequel. It seemed like the makers had taken it upon themselves to cash onto the popularity of Mike-Rainie pairing post DBY and this drama was specifically written for that purpose. And it did not disappoint in that field. The chemistry between the lead pair was sizzling, especially since Mike He was once again a "Devil" in this drama.

Overall it was nice drama. But the story was extremely cliche. A devil boy with a kind heart, an older CEO brother with a boring personality, an unrequited first love in love with the older brother and (of course) a plain Jane damsel in distress. But I still liked it. It's the Mike He effect I guess. He can make a drama come to life with his killer smile ;)

I loved this drama. I've not saying that just because Lee Min Ho is such a hottie. I mean, obviously, that's a (MAJOR) part of the reason. But it's a pretty cool show too, with action and tech and guns and national betrayals and a superhero hiding behind a geeky life and what not. Kim Na Na is such a cute name.

I usually don't do reviews on currently airing dramas because I know it pisses people off. But I just couldn't help myself with this one! This drama is AMAZING. You know, after watching a LOT of dramas, there comes a point where you just can't help getting tired of all the cliches and the typical drama moments and slip into a drama dry spell. I Hear Your Voice is just the kind of drama you need to pull you out of that mood. It just tugs at your heart at all right points. I haven't seen such a refreshing drama in so long. The kind where you LITERALLY count days until the next episode is out. Whoever wrote this drama, HATS OFF. And Hats off to Lee Jong Suk (who never fails to impress me, even with the smallest roles), Lee Bo Young (I could never imagine her in such a role after My Daughter Sooyoung but she's just pure talent) and all the other characters from the criminals to the lawyers to the prosecutors and the judges. And the mom. Gosh, she deserves the best mom award. All the cases have been so interesting so far, and I know it would not disappoint me later on.

In conclusion, people who are a little skeptical about watching it because of the older cast or the law theme, you guys have nothing to fear. This drama is cute and hilarious, and at the same time it's exciting and the makers really know their cards and when to pull them out.

THE GOOD
I think they picked a really great cast. Eun Gyeol and his imagination did not disappoint me XD Min Ho and Sulli were really cute together. Sunbae and Hanna were great additions. But the best part was the OST! Jessica, Onew, Krystal, KRY, Taeyeon...AAAA! It's so good! TTBY is my favorite OST this year (right next to Love Rain).

THE BAD
They didn't use the dorm leaders properly. I missed Oscar's character so much (I had this inward fantasy that they'd name his Korean version Oska. That would've been epic XD).

THE WEIRD
I found the lead couple really cute but still, I didn't really feel their kisses. They were too...awkward? I don't know. It was cute but no butterflies for me. Weird. haha.

OVERALL
I have watched the Japanese version and the comparisons are pointless. No one can surpass Toma as Nakatsu no matter how many versions you make. But the Korean version is still still good. It's colorful and trendy and a great one-time watch at least. And the OST! Onew

Wow what a joyride this drama was! I had initially been scared that this drama won't live up to expectations (remember the dream high 2 debacle?). But so glad I started it! Reply 1994 was just as good as Reply 1997. In fact I thought that this year I won't like a drama as much as I Hear Your Voice but Reply 1994 turned my thought upside-down.

The plot was superb. I think this drama truly taught us the power of a writer. The writers were GENIUS here. And I'm not saying that just because they succeeded in trolling us so much. The power of the writers truly lies in the building of characters. And that was the strength of this beautiful story. The Characters. All these characters that made us laugh and cry.

Whether it was Sam Cheon Po's weirdness or Trash's dorky-ness or even Chil Bong Yi's sweetness, every character was special. They weren't perfect, but special. It's not easy building such lovable characters and such a funny script. There are times when a famous actor makes a drama, but in dramas like Reply 1994, the writers are the real heroes.

But that doesn't mean the actors weren't any good. THEY WERE AMAZING! Trash, Na Jung, Chil Bong Yi, Haitai, Binggrae, Yoo Jin, appa, omma, even all the cameo actors (especially the Reply 1997 cast!) they were all such good actors and I think they'll all go a long way. The ending was great for me too. I know a lot of people were left disappointed by the ending, but if you really look closely at the facts, it's not tough to guess who the husband is. Nevertheless, a fangirl ships who her heart ships, I'm no judge. All I can say is that I was satisfied with everyone's ending and I felt sad when the drama ended because I feel like I was living at that Boarding House for all that time too and I felt emotional leaving. It's sort of crazy, I know.

I loved the music of this show. The original soundtrack as well as the old 90s songs they used in the background music! :) I found a lot of 90s kpop gems thanks to this show! :D I'm going to rewatch drama for sure. It's a total keeper. lol. And I'm really hoping that they make one more season. And I hope they'll keep the same parents again. The ajjusshi was so funny, always predicting the opposite XD and omg the mom was so sweet, cooking and looking after everyone. Very pretty actress. I want to see Man From The Stars, just because she plays someone's mom in that show :)

This is a great drama overall but people should definitely watch Reply 1997 first, that way they'll understand the cameos better. What can I say? I'm obsessed with the cameo the first season cast did! lol.

When I read the synopsis of Legendary Witch, it reminded me a bit of Harmony (movie). And to some extent it was a drama-adaptation of the film. Except that Legendary Witch is hell makjang. The show has a melodramatic start and by some ridiculous fate the four prison cellmates end up being related to each other in some way or the other. The characters, especially, the negative characters are hell exaggerated (but then what is makjang without exaggerations? lol). So plot-wise it is very predictable and annoying even. But at the same time, there are some really funny incidences and pairings that make you want to come back for just a bit more.

My personal favorites were Young Ok, and that halapati who kept trying to date her. God I loved Young Ok. She was hilarious throughout and her song is totally stuck in my mind. Gen-Gen-Gen-Gentleman-ida XD I liked Pung Geum and the driver dude. They were so cool and I loved their ending. The main couple was a little stiff at times. I don't really like their acting but their scenes together were sweet. I liked the OST.

Overall it's not the best drama out there but in terms of makjang it's pretty average and watchable and Young Ok definitely makes it more worth it.
