I must say I liked Rain much better in this drama than Full House (the only other Rain-Drama I have watched). His character was really impressive and kind of reminded me of So Ji Sub in I'm Sorry I Love You. And now that I think about it, I've never seen Shin Min Ah in a normal role before. She's either a ghost or a gumiho and haven't watched any of her movies. I loved her in this too! Her character was weak at times but mostly it was too cute for words. Shin Min Ah has this style that leaves everyone adoring her. I loved everyone's acting, especially Bok Gu's hyung. He was so good at what he did.

The only slump for me was the plot. It was a great plot, beautiful and touching. But the end was..ridiculous. It was stupid. I didn't even cry. All I was thinking was "Are you kidding me?". If that's the kind of end they were supposed to have, why go through so much hassle? I was real disappointed with the end. But overall the plot was good. I might've given this drama a 9 if they had a different ending. I'm not even asking for a happy ending exactly. Just something that makes more sense.

The OST was really good and powerful. The kind that attracts you with it's beautiful voices, not the catchy music. It was great and I want it on my phone!

Overall I feel people should give this drama a try. It's a little underrated here on MDL.

There are plenty of reviews already explaining how awesome this movie but I'm still amazed. The plot is just so refreshing and different but not too complex. It's great! I think everyone would enjoy this movie regardless of age and preferences. To put it in short, it's a sweet love story of two people alone in this world. A woman who suffers from domestic violence and a mysterious boy who breaks into people's homes when they aren't around but only eats and sleeps there and retreats right after the owners return.

The cast is amazing! The two main leads express themselves so beautifully without any use of words. I would recommend it to everyone. One of the finest Korean movies I have watched till date.

I have watched the first movie and the second one is a continuation. I liked this movie too just like the first one even though it worked very differently from what I had expected it to be. It was different but still the ending and the plot overall was satisfactory. It did make me laugh a lot. The best part about the movie is the acting. The actors have great comic timing especially Joker. The actor is too good for words.

This is pretty old movie and maybe not everyone's cup of tea. I have mixed feelings about it. The story was pretty good and the movie surely made me laugh a lot. Whether it was the Joker's funny tactics or the-lady-with-the-tattoo's immense bullying, it was funny. The only problem for me were the special-effects. They were really ugly but you can't really do anything about it because the movie is old and there wasn't too much progress in the special-effects scene back when this movie came it. Apart from that it was nice one-time watch. Not for those looking for romance though..

After watching this drama, I can safely say that I'm an official sucker for friends-falling-in-love dramas. Firstly it happened to me while watching Reply 1997 and In Time With You, and now 9 End 2 outs. This drama is super sweet and super cute and soo funny! 30 years old best friends become room-mates and eventually realize how perfect they are for each other.

The story is not that new. But yet it's great. The relationship between the two main characters would leave you envious. They're just so sweet to each other and so caring and they don't even realize it. Another plus point is that this story has a touch of realism. You can see how while living together these two people start behaving like a old married couple and how they learn new things about each other (one of them even making a list about it!) and both of them end up wondering "Why the hell am I not with this man/woman already? What have I been doing all my life??" lol.

The cast and acting is great. This drama has various characters and all of them are awesome. Jung Joo is so funny and cute! The bickering between him and Hyung Tae were so entertaining XD And Yoona's debut as an actor (only learned that an hour ago). She was pretty good even though her role was semi-bitchy. I loved all the friends of Hyung Tae and Nan Hee.

The chemistry between the two main leads is really really good. I'm really going to watch again sometime because I loved how they were with each other. They had this perfect balance of love and friendship. The music was great! I'm going to download the OST now :)

I watched this drama a year back and I was pretty excited when I heard all the praises for this drama and learned about the sky-rocketing ratings. But honestly speaking, I left disappointed. And I'd like to call that the generation gap of dramas. This drama is too old school for my taste. I neither find the jokes funny nor do I get why the characters don't confess/move on. It did drag for me and some of those shirts Bi Rain wore were ATROCIOUS.

So why did I give it an 7 overall (instead of a 5 or a 6)? Well, even though the couple was frustrating, they were pretty sweet together. And I liked the acting and the chemistry. And I admit, some stuff was really cute.

This is undoubtedly the most popular Korean drama of all time and I really don't know how many are going to agree with me, but this one's a classic. Boys Over Flowers was my fourth Asian drama (after I'm sorry I love You, 1 litre of Tears and Secret Garden) and although I have watched lots of dramas afterwards I keep going back to watch BOF (at least)once a year. The plot is really cute. It's full of those chaebol cliches but Jun Pyo does it so well, I cannot help enjoying it like hell.

So I've always wondered what makes Jun Pyo click so much. I mean, there are tons of other arrogant chaebols in various dramas that are tamed by Plain Janes. But with Jun Pyo, it's like a whole new level of excitement. I have concluded that it's the childish sincerity. Jun Pyo is a bully but when he's sincere, he just moves you, you know. He has his childish and bully ways but his heart is at the right place. And yes, Lee Min Ho is freaking hot and works those curls charmingly ;)

Coming to other characters. Geum Jandi is disliked by a lot of people. You just have to turn-on the viki comments and (BAM!) you're showered with all the abusive words in the world, directed towards Geum Jandi. But I love her! Yes she's not the typical K-drama lead girl with her long hair and honey voice. She's a total tom boy who takes no bullshit from anyone, yet she's a sweet and simple girl and pretty likeable.

Coming to Jihoo. I know lots of people got their hearts broken Ji Hoo didn't get the girl (and maybe that made people hate Geum Jandi more when she refused his confession). I felt sorry for Ji Hoo too. He had the sweetest smile that could make anyone melt and I shipped him with Geum Jan Di faintly. I think I would've shipped him harder with her if Jun Pyo wasn't so awesome. But Ji Hoo's character was great.

The rest of the characters were great too. The acting is BIG 10 for me, especially because of the lead pair. I know majority of people prefer Lee Min Ho in City Hunter over this drama, but if you ask me, I love his acting more in Boys Over Flowers.

The music is sooo good. This was the drama that introduced me to the world of kpop through Shinee's song "Stand By Me". "Lucky", "Yearning of the Heart", "Paradise" and "Because I'm stupid" are really great songs too and overall this drama has a brilliant OST. Definitely on my top 10.

My rewatch value for this show is a solid 10 because I don't even remember the number of times I have rewtached it (lol). Love it. One of my favorites.

This drama had a really good cast. Jang Geun Suk and IU are one of the best actors on the k-drama scene. But even they couldn't save this plot. I liked the jokes and there were some funny moments. But the plot was just AWKWARD for me. The lead characters sucked. I mean, the guy seduces so many women and I don't understand what the hell he learned. I can't believe people are comparing this drama to Marry Me Mary. I love that drama and it was too sweet to be compared to this one. Coming to IU, fine, fine actress. But the character? UGH. Her character wasn't just immature. It was plain stupid. From the very damn beginning. The lead couple didn't even spend any time together and there was so little chemistry. Ma Te was always busy seducing another woman. And then they're together. JUST WOW. And don't even get me started on Yoo Ra. She was so CREEPY!

So I've been really curious about Won Bin all through this time while watching Korean dramas. I've only watched him in a supporting role in Autumn in my Heart and while I thoroughly enjoyed his role, I always wondered what made him click so much with the Korean audience (and the audience all over the world, as a matter of fact). I mean, if we look at it statistically, Won Bin has barely done any dramas beyond the 90s and has only done a handful of movies but if you look out for best actors in Korea, his name tends to come on top.

It' the quality effect indeed. He has done some really good movies and The Man From Nowhere is a great example of his less-in-quantity-more-in-quality movies. I loved this movie. It was thrilling and touching all at once. A man going all the way to save a little girl because she's his friend. And the man cannot be stopped! He's a freaking one-man army, who won't stop until he wants to. What a great plot! I was on the edge of my seat throughout the movie and the ending made me cry. Well, almost since I don't cry that easily. The ending was a little different from what I expected but it was a good ending.

The rewatch value is the only thing that is not a ten for me. That's mostly because you know how the movie will progress and that steals a bit of the excitement. But the action scenes are simply WOW. The lead character is so strong and invincible, but he doesn't care about glory.

Wow what a joyride this drama was! I had initially been scared that this drama won't live up to expectations (remember the dream high 2 debacle?). But so glad I started it! Reply 1994 was just as good as Reply 1997. In fact I thought that this year I won't like a drama as much as I Hear Your Voice but Reply 1994 turned my thought upside-down.

The plot was superb. I think this drama truly taught us the power of a writer. The writers were GENIUS here. And I'm not saying that just because they succeeded in trolling us so much. The power of the writers truly lies in the building of characters. And that was the strength of this beautiful story. The Characters. All these characters that made us laugh and cry.

Whether it was Sam Cheon Po's weirdness or Trash's dorky-ness or even Chil Bong Yi's sweetness, every character was special. They weren't perfect, but special. It's not easy building such lovable characters and such a funny script. There are times when a famous actor makes a drama, but in dramas like Reply 1994, the writers are the real heroes.

But that doesn't mean the actors weren't any good. THEY WERE AMAZING! Trash, Na Jung, Chil Bong Yi, Haitai, Binggrae, Yoo Jin, appa, omma, even all the cameo actors (especially the Reply 1997 cast!) they were all such good actors and I think they'll all go a long way. The ending was great for me too. I know a lot of people were left disappointed by the ending, but if you really look closely at the facts, it's not tough to guess who the husband is. Nevertheless, a fangirl ships who her heart ships, I'm no judge. All I can say is that I was satisfied with everyone's ending and I felt sad when the drama ended because I feel like I was living at that Boarding House for all that time too and I felt emotional leaving. It's sort of crazy, I know.

I loved the music of this show. The original soundtrack as well as the old 90s songs they used in the background music! :) I found a lot of 90s kpop gems thanks to this show! :D I'm going to rewatch drama for sure. It's a total keeper. lol. And I'm really hoping that they make one more season. And I hope they'll keep the same parents again. The ajjusshi was so funny, always predicting the opposite XD and omg the mom was so sweet, cooking and looking after everyone. Very pretty actress. I want to see Man From The Stars, just because she plays someone's mom in that show :)

This is a great drama overall but people should definitely watch Reply 1997 first, that way they'll understand the cameos better. What can I say? I'm obsessed with the cameo the first season cast did! lol.

So this was supposed to be a mixture of romance, comedy and horror. But they failed to mention what a tear-jerker it was! I was bawling my eyes out practically in every episode, whether to sympathize with the ghosts or Gong Shil.

Acting wise the drama was pretty good. I enjoyed everyone's parts. But quite surprisingly I enjoyed Little Sun's part the most! She was so funny at times, even though she could be a little annoying. But I was really happy with her ending. I liked the main couple too. But somewhere it felt like So Ji Sub's character was being made to act like Dokko Jin (The Greatest Love) and that sort of ticked me a bit. Don't get me wrong - I love So Ji Sub! I'm sorry I love you (starring him) was the first drama I ever watched and it's like First Love, you can never forget it. It's just that Dokko Jin is EPIC. Every line coming outof his mouth is classic and no one can pull that kind of role better than Cha Seung Won. So somewhere along the way I couldn't stop myself from making comparisons.

And not just So Ji Sub's character, I was also left making comparisons in a lot of other aspects. Like how The Greatest Love was funnier and had a sweeter ending. I think this is the only reason I'm giving this drama 9s. Because in my eyes it can't surpass The Greatest Love.

But it does surpass it in one aspect. Music. I just love the entire OST on this drama. In fact, if you ask me, this drama has the best OST so far this year. The songs made it top 10 billboard too and it' fully deserved.

The rewatch value is a bit low for me, because I won't really come back for any funny scenes. I might come back for a few ghost stories that were super touching. I might come back for Kang Woo and little sun. And the aunt and her awesome husband! But that's all for me.

Overall this is a good drama. Much, much better than Big, but I think other Hong sister dramas are funnier. Nonetheless this drama deserves a good average, despite being a tad bit overrated.

This review may contain spoilers
WARNING: This review contains a lot of spoilers. I have a lot of nagging to do regarding this drama and I really don't want to be vague about it. Might even have some cuss words.

Firstly I want to talk about this drama's plot. PLOT. I just started college a month back and according to my professor a PLOT is a series of cause and effect. A poor plot means a poor chain of cause and effect.
Well what I just watched ought to be the worst chain of cause and effect I ever watched! Seriously, who the hell came up with this plot? A woman gets ditched by her boyfriend and ends up taking dating counseling. Finds herself the cheesiest guy on this planet who is actually a total jerk. I mean, who the hell gives a woman a ring to have sex with her?? And when the first attempt fails he invites her to his place when his parents are on a holiday. And just when they return HE PRACTICALLY THROWS HER FROM THE BACKDOOR!! All this AFTER giving her a ring?

Of course that doesn't matter because the girl is already in love with her counselor who she's never even met and talks more to him than her boyfriend while on a date/vacation.

Don't even get me started on the counselor. Why the hell would someone put up with the girlfriend LIKE HIS?? I mean, even when he proposed putting his heart out there, she made him redo it just because it didn't match her STANDARDS! And bought her own ring freaking herself.

But of course he's fallen for the Octopus girl too, but just won't admit it. And finally, he mans up and leaves the selfish bitch and goes to the good girl and then WTF happens? Something that just makes a S**t plot S**ttier THAT'S WHAT.

And guess what - the main couple NEVER MEETS. That's right, they text and sometimes talk but they don't meet until the last 5 seconds of the show!

The plot just sucks! It makes me cringe with fury in the deepest fibers of my core (if that made sense).

Coming to the acting, Boa's first debut and I must say that acting-wise I wasn't disappointed at all. She really pulled it off and she was probably the reason I continued to watch. I hope she does more acting because I would really like to see her in dramas with good stories. Choi Daniel was his usual best. In fact, everyone justified their roles well. The music was pretty decent too. Chirpy and it went well with the whole theme of the drama.

I'm never rewatching this drama again. EVER. Period.

I usually don't do reviews on currently airing dramas because I know it pisses people off. But I just couldn't help myself with this one! This drama is AMAZING. You know, after watching a LOT of dramas, there comes a point where you just can't help getting tired of all the cliches and the typical drama moments and slip into a drama dry spell. I Hear Your Voice is just the kind of drama you need to pull you out of that mood. It just tugs at your heart at all right points. I haven't seen such a refreshing drama in so long. The kind where you LITERALLY count days until the next episode is out. Whoever wrote this drama, HATS OFF. And Hats off to Lee Jong Suk (who never fails to impress me, even with the smallest roles), Lee Bo Young (I could never imagine her in such a role after My Daughter Sooyoung but she's just pure talent) and all the other characters from the criminals to the lawyers to the prosecutors and the judges. And the mom. Gosh, she deserves the best mom award. All the cases have been so interesting so far, and I know it would not disappoint me later on.

In conclusion, people who are a little skeptical about watching it because of the older cast or the law theme, you guys have nothing to fear. This drama is cute and hilarious, and at the same time it's exciting and the makers really know their cards and when to pull them out.

I started this drama for obvious reasons - Lee Seung Gi and Suzy. But this drama instantly gripped me with the parents' story. Before I knew it, I was gushing over Wol Ryung's cuteness and crying over his sad 'demise'. For me, Wol Ryung and Seo Hwa had a truly classic and epic love story. Coming to the other cast, Kang Chi is like my role model now. He's just so pure and righteous, without ever acting superior. And Yeo Wool was just the kind k-drama lead that I love. She never annoyed me and I just loved her kickass-ness. It was weird seeing Sung Joon in a supportive role after his amazing performance in Shut up! Flower Boy Band. But I loved him as Gon too :)

I think this drama had the right balance of suspense, comedy, fantasy and romance.

Two years back, I found this movie on one of those Facebook questions in which are like polls and it had lots of votes for the "Most romantic movies" and plus it was Korean (before this I had watched A Moment to Remember and Classic, so I was really looking forward to another Korean romance). When I watched it, I instantly loved it. At that point I did not know it was Hyun Bin playing the lead guy. A few months later I watched Secret Garden and fell in love with him, without knowing he was the guy from A Millionaire's first love. Months went by stalking him on the net and, one day, on one of those Facebook fan pages I read a comment saying "Loved him in A Millionaire's First Love" AND I SWEAR MY MIND WAS BLOWN. I went back to check if it was really him and indeed it was and this whole situation made my love for this movie grow deeper and now I can safely say this is my third favorite Korean movie after A Moment to Remember and My Sassy Girl.

Now some might say this movie is very unoriginal and depicts A Walk To Remember and honestly, it sort of does. But it's still a very good movie with very sweet and very funny moments. If you liked Hyun Bin's rich brat character in Secret Garden, you should definitely check this out ;) And even if you hate Seo Hwa in the first 2 episodes of Gu Family look, you should check this movie out, because Lee Yeon Hee is really good here.

The music is an added bonus and I have watched it 3 times (two times when I first discovered it and the third time when I was trying to confirm whether Hyun Bin is the lead guy) and the fourth time is on it's way. So yeah, the re-watch value is pretty good for me. lol.
