this is the first time i'm hearing about him but after a quick google search i agree!

the more eerie scenes remind me a lot of tim burton's animated movies and laika movies like coraline and paranorman.

some might but i don't have any jealous motives bc i genuinely like her from what i've seen her in varieties and interviews. i just think her acting has some improving to do. we can like people and also criticise aspects of them.

i agree, i think the show does a pretty good job at not romanticising it, but the viewers are the problem. i noticed the same with itaewon class's jo yiseo. i guess people are so tired of doormat female leads that they think the exact opposite of it is empowering (?)

tbh 'fix you' wasn't that good a show and i probably would have dropped it if i were binging on it, but jung somin's disorder was treated as a disorder and not "omg look at this badass female lead smashing the cash of her cheating boyfriend".

mental illnesses are not to be romanticized just bc the person having it is successful, beautiful and has a great fashion sense + looks and sounds like seo yeji.

i think the recently completed drama 'soul repairman' did a good job showing a female lead with borderline personality disorder without romanticizing the illness in any way. she was her own beautiful person but her disorder wasn't pretty.

we're only 3 eps in so we don't know what the writer is planning, so let's trust the writer with this one.
