i think she made up her mind after realizing that her son knew all along. she wanted to make the most of the divorce and she might've thought it was easier to blackmail jehyuk.
i made the stupid decision of reading up on doctor foster. i guess this drama seems to be following the source material too accurately that i don't have the privilege of being surprised anymore. but the execution is intense and interesting and the acting is simply great.
i didn't know how tiny kim young min was in save me 2 and my ahjussi, but crashlanding on you was eye opening lol. love this smol man.
the only shows that i'm able to sit through are knowing bros, problem child in the house, hello counselor and happy together. strong heart was a fun show too.
great cast. park sungwoong alone makes me want to not drop this, but it just doesn't seem to be worth my time. do we really need to adapt every single successful or semi-popular webtoon into dramas???? anyway, dropped. hope others are able to enjoy this.
i wonder why too. i was first introduced to him through sense8, the netflix series, sometime before i got into korean entertainment. i really liked him as an actor, but then i heard about this incident last year and i was so turned off.
I don't know if I'll like it. I like Ji Hoon as an actor and the plot seems interesting. Should I watch it? Suggestions?…
joo jihoon. interesting plot. magnetic chemistry. cat and mouse chase. not so subtle mutual attraction. this drama has everything that will fit your requirements lol
- the scene with her dad was sooooo good!!! usually dramas tend to make the daughter/son forgive the terrible parent and move on with their separate lives but i'm glad geumja didn't. her father has zero remorse over his actions.
- ceo song discards people so easily once he's done with them smh. pretty sure he willfully neglected his wife when she was in danger/caused her coma state to inherit the law firm.
- kevin goes back to being a typical foreign capitalist leech. kinda liked him with geumja though.
- kim hye soo's drama stylist needs to be fired for making such a majestic lady look this bad! but they also need a raise at the same time bc it fits the character to a tee!
can't find proper sources since its been a while since it happened but basically dude partook in underage prostitution. here's what i got from a quick google search.
- "9. Lee Kyung Young Crime: Underage prostitution Penalty: 10 months sentence, 2 years or probation, 160 hours of volunteer"
Lee Kyung-young was arrested on 2002 on charges of having sex with a teenager. He was being arrested on suspicion engaging in teenage prostitution with a teenage girl.
Lee Geug-young was suspected of tempting a movie actor, Lee Myung-yang (17), to “make her an actor” by having sex with her for which he then would provide 30,000 to 100,000 won in return for the service. Lee Geung-young argued that “I did not know that she was underage”
Filmmaker Jay Well Entertainment was embarrassed by the incident when the movie Forgive Me Once Again Despite Hatred which had starred Lee Geug-young would be released soon. The company said, “I tried to postpone the release, but I decided to do it as planned.”
From the morning when the incident was reported, the movie board posted “more than 100 criticisms of netizens such as” I can not forgive him until I die “. Another viewer said, “Even though he did not know she was a teenager, it was still shocking that he still threw bait to someone who wanted to be an actress.”
The media accused him of “forgetting moral responsibility that society gives for being an entertainer and having such wealth.”"
