I never heard of webtoons until I started watching Kdramas. I tried to read some of them but the format and genre is just not for me. I don't get it personally. And it doesn't keep my attention. I had no clue they were so popular.
Also Jaechan Park from DKZ is wrongly attributed in the credits on the listing here. He is not in this drama and not a part of the N&S group in the drama. Maybe one of those guys names happens to be the same but it is not the same guy.
I'm confused by the comments. I'm watching now and about half way through and I think it is pretty good. The story is interesting. The acting is normal (not terrible like these comments are saying). Pretty standard acting you see in any kdrama. The soundtrack is really good. Pacing of the story is good. Only criticism so far is the editing. I feel like some scenes either go on too long or are too short.
Didn't like it a lot but didn't hate it. I did appreciate that it was only 6 episodes. Much of it felt disjointed, like some scenes didn't seem to flow together. Toward the middle I honestly stopped caring about the Female Lead or her problems. JCW is awesome. Honestly I only finished it to watch him. I would consider a re-watch. Sometimes I like things more on the 2nd watching.
Hwang in yeop stole the show for me. He is the only one that did justice to his character and resembles his webtoon…
JCW was better in this than any of his other post military shows he has done. However I agree that HIY upstaged him. I think the female lead was miscast however her singing was phenomenal so it balanced out.
I watched his Baeksang Awards acceptance speech for DP but don't understand korean. Is it written down somewhere where I can translate it into English?
