I think he is to affected by the rezlity of what is going on. He want everything to be fine bit helas it is the the case. I think he is n9t ready fir all this hence why he is lashing out on XQS. Everything is above his head and it fustrates him. He cannot see above water so to speak. I just hope he will realise that he need to side with his little bro before it is too late because his sect is surroinded by enemies out for their blood.

I have not watched today's episode i stopped at 10. But yes it looks to me as well that Liu not really 100 % committed to protagonist white hair guy. I hope he will actually become a good friend with XQ
