Wooyoung from panel is in his late 30s but seem clueless af.Ye Eun - I don't get it. What did she expect from…
I agree that Mujin seems very young. There were some moments when I thought he could be around 27–28 (when he's all confident flirting with Bonhee) but when they were talking about the age gap and she said that a guy in his early 20s is too young, he nervously smirked and defensively asked if an age gap wouldn’t be an issue for her. Also he was very shy when he asked if she thinks it’s possible to fall in love in just 9 days. At that moment I thought there is no way this guy is over 25. He also tried really hard to sell the concept of the "pros of dating a younger guy" to Bonhee :D But maybe it’s just the editing and he's really in his late 20s. I hope so because I'm not sure if Bonhee can get over a 10-year age gap (I think she's around 35).
Just two episodes in, and I'm invested enough to watch it without subs :D I still don't know if Moojin is a red or green flag but I like his enthusiasm toward Bonhee. I also find Yeongkyeong&Hyeonjoon absolutely adorable.
It was a good rom-com, but the coincidences and family secrets from the last couple of episodes were ridiculous. I get that in a k-drama it's unavoidable but it was way too much and the plot didn’t need it. The acting was great and all the characters were likable and had their own small stories. 8/10
The 15th episode was such a shift in the concept of the drama. I liked the premise and I'm all in for the continuation of Chen Han Sheng’s story. I’ll probably keep watching but I’m a little bit lost.
Rather mdl rating not being believable. Its your personal taste , some drama just don't click with us no matter…
IMO most of the very high ratings here do not reflect the quality of the dramas but rather the popularity of the actors. Sometimes I just forget about it and end up suffering through to the end (I hate not finishing what I started). It's good that you enjoyed it, though :)
I barely managed to finish this one. The story was ridiculous at times, and I had to switch my brain off to continue. I liked the costumes, sets, and overall pacing, but the FL's acting left much to be desired. The ML was better but to be fair his role wasn’t as demanding as the FL’s. Once again I shouldn’t have believed MDL’s rating. 5/10
It's a good short-length drama and I really enjoyed the acting by both the FL and ML (he was really good here, I have to check his other works). The soundtrack was lovely, and some of the cinematography (especially the shots by the sea) looked beautiful. The only weird thing that caught my attention was the ML's nails (and I know it's the most random thing possible :D) there was just something off about them :) Overall it’s been a while since I binge-watched a drama like this one. 7/10
I quite enjoyed it. The fight scenes, especially in the last episodes, were good. I'm most surprised by how much I liked the scenes with Princess Feng Xi Yang in the end, and even more surprised by how much I wished for my crazy, full-of-red-flags ship to sail :D The story was good, but some directing and editing choices were, in my opinion, questionable, for example overused flashback scenes and weird lighting. 7/10
Great drama! I really liked the action scenes, and finally, adult people kiss and express love like adult people lol. I don't remember even one love confession from the main leads but I could feel their affection through the screen. It was good to see decent English-speaking actors in a K-drama. The plot lost its spark near the end, but nevertheless, I enjoyed it tremendously. Too bad they wasted Uhm Tae Goo and the only time we get to hear him speak is in the last episode. Anyway, 8/10.
This certainly was something that I haven't witnessed yet in dramaland :D The first scene with a make-out session on a coffin was a great indicator of that. I guess the winner of the most insane scene was the one with dynamite. I had to stop watching just to compose myself and stop laughing. Some editorial choices are confusing, but overall it's just a silly, over-the-top drama with half of it being main couple kiss scenes. Some parts were entertaining, and the songs they used were good, so it's 5/10 for me.
A unique drama in K-dramaland. The premise was much more interesting than the final product, but it's a well-made series. I liked the aesthetics. It's quite graphic, and I found the sex scenes both hot and disturbing. It's worth watching, if only for Kim Young Kwang's performance. I couldn't stand Yeong Gi Eun – she was annoying and way too irrational to be a detective. 6,5/10
The least entertaining movie in this franchise. Ma Dong’s plot armor and skill level in this one were ridiculous. The fight scenes quickly became repetitive and not exciting. The villains were not as good as in the previous movie. Lee Jun-hyuk was exaggerating a lot, and I couldn’t take him seriously. 5/10
