Starting out the female lead is more annoying than most out there

These sequels are really taking their time to air

The female lead talks about not trusting the king because he calculates, then she does the same soon after. Her friend is most important to her, understandably so, but that is also weighing lives. The king calculates because he is responsible for everyone. He has to think about the safety of the people in the palace and the future of the country

Not trusting the king is understandable after conversing with the royal secretary. The writing is just subpar. They wrote her character so dumb out of nowhere, why didn't she tell the king despite not trusting him -_-

The melodrama is killing me

Okay at least the writer points out the hypocrisy in ep15

In episode 17, I was super impressed with the older court lady's acting. The scene with the bodyguard. I was actually moved. Instead of feeling bored from the long transitions between every dramatic scene

Pretty sad how it ended. Bittersweet. Also, the 'it's a dream' trope was not too upsetting

I have to say, holding back her feelings for the king is super annoying. She is just a coward. Too stubborn to grow up. Her stay as a royal maid has long expired. She is making it so toxic... As if the world revolved around her. How many more episodes of this?

I hope the story can just move on from their relationship

I thought the initial idea was interesting but it ended up just being average
It's basically Cinderella with cliches. The plot convenience made me want to drop it and everything out of the protagonist's mouth is an excuse or a complaint

Despite that, I got through 7 episodes and somehow started rooting for the protagonist and the prince cause they seemed better suited and their relationship wasn't forced by the gods

So I'm curious, does the wife team up with an inspector or somebody and have chemistry with them while the husband is in prison? I'm asking cause that's what the plot seems like from the summary. It doesn't have a romance tag but it could still happen

You can't do it and I respect that. However, I am capable of forming an opinion after watching enough of the film, and that's what I did. Deal

I don't know what i was expecting when I read the title. it wasn't this though. The first episode didn't deliver for me. Dropped.

Just pretty faces and pretty colours. A bit annoying and predictable charcters
