Eunbin was spot on when she said their mom bases her entire self worth on devoting herself to the family. Seri really needs something else in her life so she can stop being a nightmare to everyone around her. I thought she was finally moving in that direction, especially when she decided to take a break from her husband and family, but noo. That turned out to be just a temper tantrum. At this point, she’s no better than Dong Ik when it comes to being suspicious and jumping to conclusions.
I think Junho is so unhinged and gross that he’d be evil even in real life 😂
Me too, I only started this drama for Eunjung and Junho's actor xD Yes, it is the infamous kimchi slap but with animated characters instead xD Here is the link to the og: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj6BBcCG2zA
I mentioned it before, but it really feels like Seri doesn’t want the two families to reconcile, and it comes off as her being insecure and selfish. I also don’t get why she has to involve herself in the main couple’s relationship. I do see her as a mom, not just a stepmom, but that’s not even the point, she shouldn’t be forcing herself into situations that don’t involve her. Also, I loved Ju A at the end of the episode. Someone seriously needs to go off on Seri for her lack of manners, because who even brings up someone’s illness just to look down on them? She should be working on her own insecurities and actually trying to get along with the FL’s family if she really cares about her own. The two families clearly gravitate toward each other for a reason, they’re meant to be on good terms, especially now that the misunderstanding that kept them apart is gone.
This week’s episodes honestly felt like one long episode, literally all four felt the same. I thought I was going crazy or hallucinating, that’s how similar they were xDDD Also liked Sukhee better when she was not sane... I expected more from her regaining her memories...
What are you talking about? The grandma was apparently assaulted, went home and then was assaulted again by her…
yep, they finally approved of them this ep and they're back together, but idk why the ML and FL are not trying to get back together.. I think Seri and Seongmi are not supportive of them yet.. And it looks like Minseo is gonna play cupid for U Jae and Eunbin.

I get it, I just wanted to share my opinion on the situation :) I hope the remaining episodes are light hearted and funny, and we are past the melodrama and crying.

I think the times were different back then, esp in a conservative society, and the grandma probably thought she was better off cutting ties with her family instead of causing harm to their reputation. She probably thought she would get victim blamed and nobody would understand her situation. Tbh, both her kids were grown,Dong Ik was already married with a son,so she probably thought it is okay to leave them, instead of making them children of woman with a tarnished reputation.
She is honestly very frustrating. I think the ML would be a lot more courageous if Ju Ah weren’t so all over…
Eunbin said something similar in today’s episode xD
I think they’re both wary of the situation between their families, especially since they’re the eldest child in their respective families. But I’m not sure if it’s the FL’s acting or just how her character is written, either way, I find myself disliking her actions more than the ML’s for some reason. And honestly, I don’t think gender really matters here, either of them could take the lead. If the ML were too aggressive with his actions, though, he might come across as pushy and overbearing, which would probably end up hurting the FL’s feelings.
very well said and also in a very kind way !!so the grandma , mom at that time , was kicked out from her husband…
I was also reminded of what the ML said in a previous episode, that he knew his mother wasn’t the only one to blame for abandoning them, and that he only blamed her because it was easier to blame the one who left. I’m glad he’s breaking that pattern in the way he handles things now. I thought this was an interesting contrast between the ML and his dad and grandpa. The ML takes the time to think things through, while the dad and grandpa tend to stay focused on resentment and a victim mentality, which makes it difficult for them to move on. It was especially evident when Dong Ik said he supports and understands why his father’s first reaction was to hit his mother, even after all these years. I’m pretty sure the grandma and grandpa reveal is probably going to be even harsher on the families than the past 30 years. (This ep sure is making me write paragraphs xD )

I think ML can be a bit too selfless at times, and he may hesitate to take risks if FL isn’t fully committed, and he probably wants to protect the peace between the two families, esp seeing how most of them are not the sharpest tools in the shed xD

Yeah, they definitely overreacted. No woman having an affair would show up that disheveled, especially with visible injuries. If they were suspicious, they should’ve just confronted their wives directly. Dong Ik was clearly relieved when Seri explained the travel agency and lawyer situation, it turned out nothing like he had imagined. I also hope they catch the man responsible for attacking the grandma and she gets some sort of closure. I’m also curious about the kidnapper woman, does she hold a grudge against them, or is she just jealous of how well the two families got along?

Glad they finally approved of the uncle and aunt tho \(^o^)/
