There's a little romance. It's not the main focus of the show though. I think it's written in very well so that the show isn't all mystery, action. They have comedy and romance in the background.
lol I'm glad I dropped this after ep11 xD tbh this shows how writers only plan for like 4eps when they present…
haha this makes so much sense. I'm skipping around the last episodes just to see how it ends but it's the most confusing/weird storyline I've ever seen.
For the first time ever, I ship the FL with both Nam do sam and Han ji pyung. I've never gotten the second male lead syndrome but I feel like with this drama, I might.
I'm so confused after today's episode. Can someone explain FL's behaviour in the woods when she got hurt? She…
Maybe in her previous life she got possessed by something forcing Lee Yeon to kill her. Now she was reborn but with the same thing that possessed her before and that thing is hiding the fox's bead which is why Lee Yeon doesn't recognize her re-incarnation.
Is it just me, but I find the dialogue extremely clunky and unnatural. It's annoying because I like the story..
it's not just you. I never understood why people didn't like the writer since I seemed to like Temperature of Love while others didn't. But now that I'm seeing this drama, I can tell that something is off. I think the writer is trying too hard to show that these characters are honest and speak their mind but by trying to do that they've lost the concept of how simple actions can portray more than just words. The ML and FL are also written too similarly that it's not exciting to watch their interactions. There should be some contrast. Having said this, I still like the story but it's the career and family relationships that are entertaining me and not so much the romance.
Why is there so many bad reviews on this show? :( I was a bit excited to check it out and then I stupidly went…
The first two episodes were basically for character development (their backgrounds). They're a bit slow but needed for the story to move forward. The next episodes will definitely be where the fun starts. I think people aren't very patient for the story and that's why the ratings are low.
The romance falls flat for me which I tend to skip, but still coming along for the growth of the characters lol.
So true. My favorite moments are when Sa hye jun succeeds in his career, as well as his relationship with family friends. The romance on the other hand is lacking in chemistry. I think it's because both characters are written similarly that when they are together there is no contrast between the two. It seems they should be friends.
This drama was mostly marketed as thriller but it's really romance/melo at its core, you don't have to worry about…
I don't like much romance either. But Flower of Evil is mostly thriller so you won't regret watching it. Train is good although I I enjoyed Flower of Evil more. So after watching Train, watch this one as well. You won't regret it.
A little weird and almost incest-y. I don’t want the leads to end up together...
I'm trying not to make any judgements until the end of the drama. Honestly, I don't think the writers would put the leads together unless they make it very clear that she is in no way his mother. They wouldn't want a controversial topic to be associated with their drama. I'm getting the same vibes as you so here's to hoping the writers know what they're doing.
LJG went psycho the second half and it turned into a will-he or won't-he kill BHS. He would've definitely killed…
I agree with you about episode 15. It would have been a better story if he himself overcame his demons. It's would have been more impactful since it would show that he was always good and did not need his wife to make him good. The wife just helped him realize his feelings. She didn't actually change him. Now thaty they made her the reason to drop the knife, it took away something of his character (his innate goodness).
Eight episodes were aired so now can someone tell me who is the love interest (woman) if there's romance at all…
It's confusing. So far there is no obvious romantic relationship. We are not sure whether tae yi is his mother or another taei yi from a parallel universe. Jin gyum already mentioned that he does not have feelings for her but continues to protect. She may have started to develop some feelings but it is ambigious and there is no indication that they will actually end up together or not. Honestly, I would just watch it for the sci-fi or wait until everything is explained and see if there is romance.
people talking about incest, potential romance stuffs in the comments is really frustrating...Why can't we just…
Exactly. People should just wait until the series finishes to see if there is actually romance between tae yi and Jin gyum or if she's his mother or not. They should stop spreading negative comments when it's too early to conclude anything and enjoy the ride. let the writers play around with us by hinting at romance but whether it actually happens or not, we'll just have to see.
