Dae Ho turning up corrupted and the lapdog of Cha Si Young 30 years later was such a shame since he started as a good young man wanting to bring justice. The moment he helped bury that child and chose his career over being an actual decent human it was over.
Seo Ji Won the only woman ever!! Badass, kind, loyal, smart and the only one who stood by Tae Joo. Cha Si Yeong, that man stayed the same till the end, even his nephew who seemed to geniunely love him couldn't change him. Once a piece of sh* always a piece of sh*. Not surprised that he didn't get punished along with the other officers for the child's case but I guess this is realistic, we see it everyday in the real world. Tae Joo, I hope he can find some peace now with his family. Also I really like that the last scene of the drama was him and Ji Won. The only thing that I would have liked better was to see a scene with Sun Yeong where she can apologise. Anyway, I think it was a very good drama with an excellent cast!!!
Except Tae Joo and Ji Won every single one of them is responsible for this mess. Every character is worse than the other. Even Dae Ho ended up being a corrupted man and worse than the other two cops. I'm so disappointing in Sun Yeong, living off from this disgusting family and raising her son with them. Also I'm not suprised that all these pieces of sh* never got punished but instead have status and money. Cha Si Yeong ,sure ,was very generous to help them. They all deserve hell!! P.S. I hope Tae Joo forms a bond with his nephew and takes him far away from that family.
Yes I love the theory. But I also think Grand Prince kind of misunderstood Danshim, and Danshim feels guilty for…
Yep, I agree. I think they ended very badly in their past life and maybe that's why she felt guilty and she doesn't remember him as Seori. Of course there is a possibility that he left or something but him being dead is way more tragic. I mean no way he wouldn't have stopped her death if he was alive.
I thought maybe the king wanted his brother to fall in love to then take that woman as his concubine to hurt him…
Yes, that's the most possible theory. It's not like she could say no to the King, she was just a slave but it's still a mystery what happened between her and the Grand Prince and why he wasn't there when she died.
I really love the contrast between the four characters. Grand Prince and Dansim are so gentle and cute with each other (even the voices of the actors are different) and then you have Segye and Dansim/Seori who are very chaotic and loud lol. Also I'm starting to think that Grand Prince died earlier than Dansim and that's why he's nowhere to be found when she was dying (hence her last thought being of him). I mean the Dansim we saw in the early episodes is so different from the one we see in the flashbacks with the Prince. It seems that she lost her light and the sweetness and became cruel and ''villain'' to everyone because maybe she lost the only good thing in her life and that's her regret and guilt while she died.
The wrist kiss is so buzzy and made the next kiss even better. That whole last scene was insane (i want to gush about how good Nam Jun was with his expressions) and then ending it with the cute scene from their past life as the epilogue. I love this drama!!
Episode 5 was amazing oh my god! Kudos to the writing and to the leads, they made me laugh and swoon as Seori and Segye and feel melancholic and sad as Dansim and Lee Hyun. Insane chemistry!!
Something something about Dansim thinking about Lee Hyun and all the moments they shared together while she was dying (ep 1) and maybe she believed it was a punishment for hurting him. I think they really did love each other even if they didn't got the chance to be together. I can't wait to find out more about their past love story, it seems very tragic.
Possible but I don't think it's that simple. We must remember that the Crown Prince put her as a spy in his brother…
Yes, I want to see angst too and it seems the joseon past life is full of it. I'm thinking maybe the King forced her to become his concubine by threatening to harm GP and she had no choice to lie to him so she can protect him but either way he felt betrayed
Just re-watched the last part of Episode 1 and there is a major clue as to what happened long ago. In the modern…
Possible but I don't think it's that simple. We must remember that the Crown Prince put her as a spy in his brother residence (to be his lover to be exact) and while there they developed feelings for each other and probably later when CP became King he took her as his concubine to hurt him. Also we don't know what happended to the Grand Prince, if he learned what his brother was up to, if he felt betrayed by Dan-shim or where he was when she was dying (if he was alive). I'm smelling tragedy.
At this point what's the difference between Cha Siyeong and Gi Hwan? One is killing and the other just helps him kill more by removing and hiding a body of a child like an object and now trying to kill Tae Ju. He is a psycopath and deserves the same punishment as the killer. And to think that in the present time it seems that he still has his job and lives fine. Also Sun Yeong can't be that naive to trust that man. This family is corrupted to the core and deserve hell.
I can't believe that we got to the point where Cha Siyeong's corrupted brother does a better job to find the killer than Cha Siyeong himself. This man is crazy. Hiding the body of a child to who knows where along with those disgusting cops (they even involved Dae Ho in their mess) and all that so he could get an award. No amount of punishment is enough for him, like that's straight up evil. No wonder Gi Hwan got away so easily, they're all useless.
Two days left for a new episode. We can do this!!
