I'm watching other dramas but I keep coming back to this. I can't move on from ShinSegye.

I totally agree. This drama didn't have popular actors (even though Lim Jiyeon is well known from glory) or a popular writer to attract immediate attention but the success came organically with more people talking about it every episode and gaining huge love even from those who were skeptical at first and like you said a rating 1 or 2 means that it was garbage which was far from that. I guess it's true when a drama becomes successful there will always be some who just spew hate.

I will never understand people coming on mdl and just plain hating everything. Of course I don't mean the constructive criticism someone might have about a drama but pure hate from actors to everything. Like I saw some reviews for this drama and some had given ratings 1 or 2 like how? I'm starting to think that some didn't even watch the show and came here just to complain and be negative.

Ιt's really so great when you start a drama with no expectations and it ends up being so amazing. I started this without much thinking even though I love reincarnation/time travel stories and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The withdrawal symptoms are already hitting me and it's only been a day. I'm really going to miss that feeling waiting for new episodes and giggling and laughing while watching.

A few hours passed and I already miss them. Oh my ShinSegye no one is gonna be like you!!

Segye had to deal with Seori’s joseon personality and now Hyeon will have to do the same with Dansim’s modern personality. Girls driving their men crazy across lifetimes and we love to see it. (i would have loved a spin off with the adventures of Danshim and the Prince)

And now what? My Fridays and Saturdays are gonna be so empty without ShinSegye

So after seeing the episode better from what I understood is that Seori was never meant to be with the Grand Prince. He wasn't her true love simply because she didn't belong in that world, she forcibly got taken there. All along her fate and her only one was Segye and because his fate was tied with the Prince's she had to save him for Segye to live too. Even the poison she took in the first episode was to save Segye and go to the fututre and she knew that. She changed their fates and that's why see Grand Prince and Danshim living and meeting each other like i'ts supposed to be.

I don't think any other male lead character will ever be like him. He really changed the meaning of downbadism lover

At the end of the day I think it all comes down to one person's taste and preference. MDL is very weird in my opinion because you have people just down rating something very easy, or just hating it. Also it gives you the option to rate episodes that are not even out yet and that to me is so ridiculous. Of course this specific rating is not bad and it could change because there are many that actually wait the drama to end so they can rate it. For me the drama was the suprise of the year and that's why i think it increased with every episode.
