I don't think 12 episodes are enough for a drama like that since the plot its not only about the romance. The palace stuff and the politics are very much the main deal here just as the romantic relationship of the leads.

I think my favorite scene of episode 3 was when Seori was talking about her skirt and Segye just unconsciously smiled and then he had to compose himself. That was so cute and hilarious.

I think the drama could easily had 20 episodes so that the characters, the plot and the relationships can be more fleshed out. Like this is my only criticism cause the OTP , the cinematography, the budget, the direction are all very good but with limited episodes the plot it's bound to be rushed and not well developed.

This drama is so good. Ji Yeon and Nam Jun are killing it, like the chemistry is insane!!!

I'm sorry but I hate Cha Siyoung like he's really a despicable man. I don't care about his issues with his brother and father. That doesn't give him the right to torture innocent people and be a piece of sh*. I really wanted him locked up along with the two police officers who are helping him but instead they even get awards like what?? Also I'm disgusted with Gi Hwan. He still lives his life and kills freely while his brother is dead and another innocent guy is in prison. Ugh this episode pissed me off!!

This episode devastate me so much. I mean it was already heavy with all the previous victims but between Gi Beom finally getting out and not having time to reunite with Sun Yeong or the fact that he will never meet his child and then learning what his brother did and all the while we see who is the real killer with the police capturing the wrong man. Brutal!!
P.S. So when they said in the first episodes that the man killed his sister in law and that's why he's in prison they mean Sun Yeong now that we learned that it's Gi Hwan?

I'm so excited for this. Chen Duling is becoming one of my favorite actresses and Zhou Yiran is so talented.

I loved episode 10. I wish we got more episodes so that we could see their relationship better because they're very cute and hot.

Imagine being so petty and jealous because the girl you like doesn't like you back so you choose to sacrifice years of friendship and cause harm. Such a hypocrite!

Usually I don't pay attention to the negative comments because ok different opinions and tastes but the hate for this drama is so forced. It's really not that deep to the point that you spent your time hating it especially when there are so many dramas out there to enjoy.

You will never see me rooting for SMLs ever. They are always annoying with the I liked you in secret for years but I woke up now that you like someone else attitude.

Here's a thought how about they change the writer instead of the cast. I think we can all agree with that lol.

We don't even know if the cast knows about this. It could very well be a different story with different characters.

I just saw the news about the second season and I'm very sceptical because they could very well have a different cast. I don't think it's easy to bring the same cast together again unless the actors had known about it when they started filming s1.

It was fun, I loved the characters and all the actors are talented I just wish we didn't have to deal with gjm obsession so we could have a much better storyline.
