Based on the description, the story is about the female protagonist. So how was Hwang cast first?
It's just my thinking, but they may have already a female lead in mind, but there may be some other difficulties like her being busy with changing agency, waiting for some scandal to quiet down, or just different expecations. They may be waiting for her or to make it public.
Is it bad? I was debating starting it. (Opinion with no spoilers please!)
