Went in with really low expectations. Esp since it centers around cheating for the majority of the show I was already going in expecting to hate the characters, but this was surprisingly well done. Even though the main leads actions are horrible you do get some insight to their thoughts. It's a very toxic relationship that normally I wouldn't recommend watching but somehow they managed to pull it off here.
Both the leads acted really well but I wish they gave the audience more insight into why the FL likes the ML. One minute she's in love with her senpai and the next she's completely head over heals for the ML. It made zero sense.
Should have been 8 eps max and skipped the pandemic arc. All the comments below are correct - the FL has a really really strange way of making facial expressions which really annoy the viewer. She's beautiful for sure but needs to practice her facial expressions in the mirror a lot more- it wasn't kawaii it was annoying.
On the positive it really tried to showcase the importance of not always working overtime and learning work life balance but it just didn't fit with the original tone of the drama and so felt completely misplaced.
Thus this is totally skippable due to the cringey acting from the FL and the sudden detour in story and plot halfway that is in stark contrast to the beginning.
Cute and sweet. I like the fact that the FL didn't always have the answer in the company and was shown to be always learning from other people. Usually they are hardworking but have a suspicious amount of luck with their ideas- no matter how far out there.
The romance was on the subtle sweet side and all the characters were likeable. This is an enjoyable short watch!
This was so hilarious. It's true only a jdrama could pull off the wackiness that was this series. All the fights were pretty fun to watch in a morbid way, they didn't seem overly choreographed and the humour was so well timed.
I just had to wonder where are all the parents of these kids? How are they passing their exams with all this chaos. LOL.
But old people worries aside, this was well acted. Although each episode is pretty similar in the way these dramas normally are, they are still so fun to watch. It's just a hilariously relaxing drama to watch.
This had so much potential but never reached it. The FL was written in such a frustrating manner and although Ri Ying pulled it off well enough, it didn't stop me from getting irritated. There were too many nonsensical subplots and side characters. A lot OTT acting and as someone else mentioned, I felt that Li Hong Yi was really pulling back on kisses. He seemed to really not be attached to his character and most of the time was just staring at the ground.
Both the main leads were nice to a fault constantly forgiving and saving everyone to the point where as an audience I got frustrated from just watching. The initial 7-9 episodes were a pain to get through. Throughout the series the FF button became my best friend.
Although the romance was sweet it just seemed to be lacking something after everything the leads went through. I half blame the acting and half the director. There were a lot scenes that seemed to have not reached their potential because of the way it was shot. The bgm also seemed to be missing half the time and the FL's acting varied from really good to being too clumsy.
I don't mind a remake but maybe they could update it to be less toxic. Like every character needs a little bit of a rewrite. I remember Goong being one of the first few dramas I watched and looking back almost everyone was toxic in a certain way.
People be creepy. Like.... it is insane to have such feelings about a celebrity. You can't tell them how to live their lives to the extent of who they marry. I swear these fans only want their oppas to die lonely miserable deaths- it's the only way they can be happy.

Although I thought the FL was smarter at the start and becomes a little useless towards the end it was still well produced and a great watch!
Thank you to @SubbingPaws for subbing for us!
Though, I FFed my way through this series I would never recommend this to anyone. It wasn't horribly bad but it really was so bland.

Overall you can give this one a miss imo.
Wouldn't be able to enjoy any dramas without subbers like you!
