I'm still watching because I was hoping for it to get better and now that there's just 3 episodes left I might as well finish it (sunk-cost fallacy and all that). Look, the comments are to voice opinion on a series, good or bad, and to discuss it. I get being angry at the fact that others are bashing something you're enjoying, been there done that, but you should eventually accept that expecting better and pointing out bad things in a series is for the better. Otherwise, the companies will never raise the bar or might even lower it, since their get away will be that people lap up whatever they serve anyway, so why would they even try? And then they hop on to make the next minimum viable product.

If you set your romance in a certain setting, it is expected that said setting and its plot will be given proper care and development. The way The Air is handling the whole political/action plot is just insulting to the watcher's intelligence and time. If they wanted to focus strictly on romance, then they should've sticked to slice of life.
Sadly it's a total snoozefest and the action scenes are terrible, so whenever something finally happens, it's even worse than when nothing is happening. Another wasted potential for FB.

You gotta understand that in most countries in the world, the age of consent is around 15/16, and the only reason teacher-student relationships are forbidden is due to the power dynamics. Ultimately it's fiction and the actressess are adults, so no one normal cares, it's just terminally online people like you who do. Terminally online people are incapable of separating fiction from reality, so they go berserk the moment they encounter something they consider wrong in a series. I just hope that at least some companies like FRT will ignore them and continue creating ludokino art of the highest order like Shades.
Finally got to watch episode 5. Man, I've seen comments about everything going to shit so I thought I was prepared, but it turns out I wasn't. I gotta say, the show is amazing with how it subverses the expectations. The second flashback to Belle buying the plushie and getting the rose too, and also how the rose ties to the Little Prince's story Earn was reciting. Impeccable. I can now safely say that Shades is the best Thai GL ever made in my book.
Nano meeting that guy Dan and borrowing yet more money from him made me recall that there was a bunch of spoiler scenes at the very start of the first episode, during Mother Superior's talk with Nalin, and there was a scene of one of the girls undressing in front of a bed on which someone we can only see top of the head of lies. I went back to rewatch it and they look similar enough that it's possible it's actually him. Absolutely cursed.
