Actually pretty good for a short drama. Kinda cheesy at times though with that babyface ML who is a hardened killer.

Not much to note, looks like the standard cdrama cgi you see like in all xianxias and xuanhuans.

Think that was someone's random summary fanfiction. Point is, the novel isn't a sci-fi.

I get that they have no budget to have european style armor and (cgi) background, still kinda yikes though. I wonder if they even have orcs/demon races cgi'd in here.

Was excited to see Johnny Zhang in a main role for a minute, but looks like he had been replaced by a newcomer ages ago.

Been wanting to watch this for a while, but still not sure if I want to stare at the manchu/qing hairstyle for 40 episodes without it being a palace harem/historical.

A solid drama, very slice of life-ish set around the store of the group of friends.
As for the plot, the first season is more of an initial setup introducing all the parties, and their alleged involvement in the event that started everything and which everything is connected to.
As for the wuxia part, don't expect flashy and many fights, I could count it on my hands. But the wuxia elements are definitely sincere in here.
This season raised a lot of questions. Hope for a quick season 2.

I don't know but it's kinda funny. ZZH got banned for something he did in Japan, and PMY got banned because she's a korean actress. And somehow this is getting aired only in Japan. I guess two negatives make a positive, lol.

Not sure if all the roles are already out, but I bet Ireine Song will play the disciple of the Spirit Beast Mountain Sect, Han Yunzhi... because she's the face model of the donghua

Luckily this is a Youku production and not a Tencent production, so this isn't going to be a butchered adaptation right... right guys? *cough* Soul Land *cough* BTTH *cough* Martial Universe (starring Yang Yang as well)
