This drama does not remind me of Speed and Love at all! For one in Speed and Love he left when he was 14 Chen Yi took her in and raised her in Love For You Novel as a teenager. Also Chen Yi suffered torture and abuse. He was not a model student like the guy was in Speed and Love.I do not know if that will differ from the novel. Also he was not with her as a brother since before she was born like in Speed and Love. He met her when she was older kid. Very different storyline and motivations.

I forgot to add Never Ending Summer lol. Loved that one!!!

I know right🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am not even naming the ones from Jan to June 2026 I watched!!!.. Pursuit Of Jade,Perfect Crown, Our Universe, Positively Yours, Sold Out On You, The Wonderfools, Generation To Generation, Husbands in Action, XO Kitty 3, Love EXE,Older ones Back To The Brink, Dashing Youth, When We Were Young, My Fated Boy, School 2021 A Love So Beautiful( K drama), I am sure I am forgetting something lol That is just this year🤣 A big mix of C and K dramas 🤣🤣🤣 I should start my own channel on IG lol This is not including all the OST music I download from everything I watch lol

Do we get episode 17 and 18 tonight? I only saw one preview for 17 on Youku. Literally Love For You first 4 episodes come out exact same time as The Eternal Fragrance now my time at around 9 pm. I will be up till at least 3 am tonight watching all 6 episodes lol. Every night except one episode nights I will be watching 4 episodes! And Two new K dramas started today I have been waiting forever for! So actually watching 8 episodes today! This reminds me of Nov Dec! I was finishing Sniper Butterfly and Fated Hearts and Love In The Clouds. Then went right into Speed and Love, Then Hou Ming Hao had two dramas release two days apart Unclouded Soul and Glory. Then K dramas same month were Typhoon Family, Cashero and Idol I.
I was toast in Nov and Dec 2025🤣🤣🤣 I will not get any sleep for awhile!!!!🤣🤣 Still not released this month I will add to my watch list Overdo, Blossoms of Power, Key To The Phoenix Heart , Jiang Shan We Pin, and K drama Dream to You. Ugh why do they release everything at same time!!!

Agreed but interesting they are saying 7 episodes cut? They really should say how many minutes are cut? When they say episodes it looks like they just deleted whole episodes instead of just content. Agreed it probably was alot of the other other characters scenes cut.

Not right he seems like such a sweetheart. It is not his fault the drama took so long to air and they cut 7 episodes!

i remember that he refused to do any more of those projects so he had to fight it in court . i was reading that meant he could work or not work. I think he chose to not not work and fight his contract. So your correct he could not work unless he worked on what they wanted or take other scripts. I swore that is what I read. But he is also a person who is not all about the limelight! He also as you know came from such humble beginnings and his big sister is his assistant and travels with him. From what I have seen he really likes to be at home in DALIAN and still lives there. He was sad that his friends wanted his autograph. He said he cried. I think he would rather hang out with his dog and look for lizards lol. He is a nature boy, Do you remember he said that he would probably get married by 30 lol on that variety show. He would be successful in whatever he does. I think its interesting to that he sent himself at I think 11 to Shaolin temple to train. He said that he literally had skin breaking off his legs from the cold. It was brutal. So I could see him really getting into this character because he is such a disciplined martial artist and very athletic!!! He lived with Masters etc. I am with you about his past trauma! His interviews made me cry!!! But he is finally getting the recognition he deserves!!! I was on a flight to Hong Kong before all his new dramas came back and the Chinese girl next to me on the plane was floored when I said I loved C dramas and asked who I liked. She did not understand his name. But when I showed her his picture she lit up but said many in China thought he could not act but that he was insanely handsome. She said they call him Yan Ba in China. for past 10 years. She said it meant he was the most outstanding person in terms of appearance, the person who dominates everyone in terms of appearance. Song Weilong is way more than a pretty face! I am so glad people are really seeing his talent and good heart.

I am really enjoying the drama so far. I love seeing him using his insane martial arts skills.Because he is the real deal! I think alot of people forget that he started with Untouchable Lovers at just 17! He was forced to do so many bad projects because of the contract he signed. He was so smart because he legally fought it and basically did not release any dramas for 3 years. He was so young and had not really grown into being a mature man yet even though he looked older for his age. He also is a heavily trained martial artist since childhood and never really got to show his skills. It was always about his insane good looks. During his self imposed hiatus he got control of his name and the projects he wants etc. During that time he made like 4 projects and then took Love For You and Shine On Me.

When he came back he was older and he just took off like a rocket even more than before! I knew he would be a massive star after I saw him in Go Ahead and Find Yourself. So Eternal Fragrance was really that drama I think he always wanted to do but then it got shelved for awhile. Looking at the drama now I see why! The special effects are insane in this! I mean Literally He has released 6 dramas since January 2025! In a year and a half 6 Dramas when Love For You comes out tomorrow! All of the others were pretty big and did really well overall. Everlasting Longing and Youthful Glory were so awesome! Love for You will definitely dominate and be an instant hit!

Youthful Glory was my favorite Drama of 2025! Then to do Seven Relics of ill Omen and then break records with Shine On Me! He is so huge in Korea now he just won the best actor there at their film festival! So honestly even if this drama does not do well he seems really proud of it and it will not hurt him. Love For You will be Mega big when it comes out tomorrow! He will have two dramas airing at same time lol! One thing I noticed since he won that legal battle he seems to be with an agency he really likes and picks and chooses what he wants now. He has not even started filming another drama like other C actors. I think he was jsut taking abreak from filming for awhile and wants to pick the right project.

I really feel he is not under the stress other C actors are under because he got out of that contract. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have followed his story for years and even seen interviews where he was so sad at the toll it took on him and his mental health working they way he did and taking bad projects. i love the fact that he is working with JU again!! I loved them together " In a Class OF her Own". So funny they were in an academy together in that drama too lol. I am just going to enjoy the ride and I i think overall The Eternal Fragrance will be a worthwhile watch and honestly Song never disappoints overall.

Song Weilong said himself in the live the Demon Lord is a very sad character to him as he is very lonely and just wished he could be mortal and live a normal life.

I also loved him in Everlasting Longing!!!

I am starting to wonder if the 7 cut episodes were them growing up together as teens. I keep thinking how could they cut the main leads towards the end and anything with Song Weilong for sure 7 whole episodes!. I know it is edited weird a bit But in the novel they were really young when they met and they changed to be 16 or 17 here. I twould be so easy for them t just cut the episodes with other actors playing them young. But it does not make sense to because she met him in the house in that first scene. Unless they had a different arc or shot different scenes in case they needed it. Or were minutes cut throughout all the episodes that totaled 7 episodes?

Right! K dramas will have Love in Sync, The Husband and Dream to You just in early July! BUT CDramas will rule Never Ending Summer, Love Has Fireworks and The Eternal Fragrance just out, Love For you, Blossoms of Power! If rumors are true in late July C dramas... Keys To The Phoenix Heart, Jiang Shan Wei Pin and Overdo!!! Followed by Chasing Dreams !! I know there are others but those are my must watch K and C dramas of July/August!!!

I wish they had done future bonus conten t like they did in Sniper Butterfly and Shine On Me. Showing they had a son. In the novel she suffered due to tolerance to anethesia. She thought the pain of being cut was likened to him getting stabbed. But all in all with their story they really did have a perfect ending! Much like When I Fly Towards You which i still think is one of the best endings in C Drama! Hidden Love had a great ending by i also wanted to see future conent with wedding and their daughter!

Wow!!! Just Wow!!! I just watched all the episodes! Loved the ending!!! I knew she had loved him a long time. She actually feIl first and he fell harder!!! I give it a 10! That is how endings are done! They also let them be a couple since episide 26!!

Love as Fireworks Expres comes out tomorrow! So whole series could be binged now!
