Lol! I did that after seeinc him in Go Ahead!! But after Binging all he did he took like a 3 yeaf breqk and made all these unrelezsed projects and then took on Shine On Me and Love For you. All 6 of those dramas have been released in a year and a half!!! Thats nuts!!! Everlasting Longing released Jan 2025( that was his return drama after long hiatus) Then Youthful Glory, Seven Relics of ill Omen, Shine On Me, The Eternal Fragrance and Love For You! He has been on fire!!!

Just curious did anyone notice the news about the 900 snakes set free from a snake breeding farm in a typhoon in China. Supposedly major cities were hit where alot of Chinese Dramas are filmed on location. Guangxi and Guangdong Province. Many Cobras escaped😱😱 They have videos of Cobras heads stuck out of flood water with its hood. That is my worst nightmare. Being from New Orleans I was in Katrina and snakes, sharks and Gators were a real threat! But not COBRAS!!!! Prayers for the flood victims.

He wanted to torture him as he believed he was not his son. He knew he feared electricity from his torture. He hated his own son. Not mentioned in Drama but wife wanted to leave him. She drowned in that river mysteriously. That is why when he saved Jing he was also facing a huge fear as he lost his mother in same river.

Now I can't get Angels Last Mission out of my head lol. It is such a beautiful Drama and the music is so good. Before V of BTS there was L of Infinite! Lol He was the face card of K Pop and a really good actor. This drama really resonated with my soul. It was deeper than just a romance. She is an orphaned spoiled rich girl with no heart. Her family wants her dead for her money. She is a blind gifted ballerina. He is a guardian Angel who within 24 hours will earn his place in heaven. But when their is an attempt on her life he steps in and saves her. He is not supposed to do that so God punishes him by making him a human with the mission to make the ice queen fall in love. Through a twist of fate when they were children they met. He was horribly abused by his father. He runs off and falls off a cliff and drowned . Now his human memories are coming back. She never knew he died or that he was the boy that was her crush. Their relationship is forbidden and all he wants is to stay human You can see where that goes😭😭😭😭 Also he is protecting her from people who want her dead.

I also would say another Drama that was supposed to be funny but will rip you apart is "When The Stars Gossip". Some scenes are so beautiful. It bombed so badly because of strange storyline. But damn they had the whole we are dying so we will make love in space to keep from freezing to death moment in drama.🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you are looking for something totally unique its that one.

Evidentally ChenYi was watching the "uncensored " Titanic 🤣🤣🤣 That scene or scenes was banned in China. She brought the disc from America.

No joke I took my 5 year old son to see Titanic multiple times when it was at theater. I never thought of it as that kind of movie even with those two scenes.Now I am cringing lol We also watched it with my 85 year old Irish grandmother🤣🤣🤣🤣. I never thought of the movie like that. I guess the Titanic did not sink for Chen Yi🤣🤣🤣 I am soo going to hell! In the novel he actually had a steamy make out scene in his car. Was he recreating that moment in the car in titanic? Call it Love is so heartbreaking as she ruthlessly targets him because he is her dead dads mistress son. But he is a gentle soul and a emotionally damaged person because of his mother.

Angels Last Mission I can't say enough good things about it. That drama stayed with me a really long time. It is very unique. He isnt just her guardian angel she was his first love as a human. It ripped my heart out. She was spoiled and mean blind at first. L is just awesome in it as Angel Dan.

If you have not seen My Dearest it will break you. I still cry when i think about it.

But The Red Sleeve 😭😭😭😭😭 Omg I cried especially when i found out it was based on a true story. The tragic parts were all true!!!

The others I mentioned are C dramas. Go Ahead would be at top of my list for sure!!

Also if you have not seen When I Fly Towards You Rang Rang is put through the ringer with his mother. But overall a happy drama but the romance is beautiful and feels very real to life.

Am I the only one who thinks his cop friend is going to die and that will start him on a path of vengeance for justice that even overshadows his love for her. So he throws her away to protect her and goes undercover to get justice for his cop "brother". It is so obvious he is going go fie before he gets married😭😭

He told her she could have boyfriends and to leave him. Neither of them admitted any feelings. Only treated it as friends with benefits and sexual exploration. He was dying indide but he loved her. He pushed her away do she would go to College and not look back. I think he broke down and wanted her back but arson case happened and he broke all contact to protect her from his dangerous life.

Also when she came back and after lol. It is basically a waterfall in novel when it starts again. I am not sure they will portray it that way in Novel. My guess is it will be a kiss only before she leaves and they don't hook up first time till 6 years later? Also in novel she had at least one lover in college. He had two after her. He admitted to a woman in betting parlor and the fake girlfriend were sometimes friends with benefits but he rarely slept with her and became very dissolutioned where she did not even excite him at all. So he just used her as a cover to keep other girls from bothering him.

In the novel he got drunk and ended up in her bed and ine thing led to another. It was consentual. After that they had sex all the time. He did not call it dating as she was leaving for college in a few weeks. He dis not want her to stay. He said it was a no strings attached kind of agreement. On the outside he held up the appearance it meant nothing a friends with benefits relationship and sexual curiosity. Inside he was crazy in love! That is why he said in that trailer they were playing house. They more than dated they were full on lovers before she went to college. The arson case is why he pushed her away to protect her. That is why she came back for him. She knew he loved her and wanted not just her man but her lover back. Girl was claiming him lol She made him jealous with a fake boyfriend. So he could not just "resume" their past sexual relationship as she was "taken" and supposedly so was he. So now they were evzn more forbidden fruit to each other.

Go Ahead, All About Secrets, You are Desire, Reborn, , Our Secret, Our Generation, When We Were Young,The White Olive Tree and Dark Night and Dawn. TWO really beautiful VERT heartbreaking K dramas that will tear your heart up are The Red Sleeve and My Dearest, Call It Love and Angels Last Mission are so good to. Thank me later

Agreed!!! Very different story and motivations!!! Also in Novel Jing and Yi became lovers before she went to college, She had a real reason to come back for him. They had already been together. I doubt they will do that in the drama lol In Speed and Love she was just obsessed with her "brother"

I watched 8 episodes today! The 4 episodes of Love For you, 2 episodes of Eternal Fragrance. 1 episode each of K drama Love in Sync and The Husband. Julys watch schedule is insane for C and K dramas. Blossoms of Power July 9, Jiang Shan Wei Pin, Key to The Phoenix Heart, Overdo,and , K drama Dream To You will be on my JULY watch list. Those are just the ones I am near 100 percent sure those C dramas will be out at end of month. No interest in Road To Success especially since I think it stalled Overdos release lol

Also the novel was RACY I mean he slept with her alot when she became of age before he sent her to college, He was her first everything. I mean their is alot of sex scenes in the novel I was so shocked!! He raised her after the mom left. So he was a father figure to her to. In the Novel she was coming back for him because he had been her lover and she was madly in love with him. She knew he needed saving. He pushed her away thinking she would never return so she could have a happy life without someone so messed up in the head as he was. Hopefully they wont change the reason she came back.
