I think He Ran has some kind of serious disease, and she got it from her dad. Her mom knew it and that's why she…
ppl who read the novel said it's leukemia, I think she's aware though since she was at some treatment center when she was younger (she bumped into the mom of a girl she knew from thereat the store). I wonder if her father is dead or was he never in their lives ever? there was that one scene where he told the mom to either abort the baby (He Ran) or their relationship was over and the mom broke up with him. It seems like the mom was a mistress or something.. I was only kinda half paying attention so can't really recall lol.
Some asian countries also use phrases that translate to middle-aged for your 30s. Im not sure if China is one…
normally in the west we think of middle age as 45-65, but I think in this case it's like you said. I know for vietnamese, which I think a lot of words and phrases are borrowed and translated very closely to chinese there's a phrase to describe 18-30 which translates to "youth". and beyond 30 and lower than 65 (old age) there is a phrase that translates to "middle age"
personally, the prettiest thing a woman can wear are summer dresses and that's pretty much all she wears all the time. it's understandable he would have bad intentions lol.
one thing that I couldn't stand/get over is how they kept using "child bu yeon" whenever there's a conversation or scene involving bu yeon's soul. bro she literally grew up to a full adult, her "soul" should've looked like Jung so Min.
I think it was a mistake in season 1 and they just kept it going. they used jung so min to depict naksu's soul when they should've used Go Yoon Jung..
that queen deserved what she got, how are you gonna go to a dying dude and ask for his last soul ejector? if bro has it.. he just needs a breathing body lmao
why does the ml lowkey look like Jackson Wang???? Is it only me that sees it?
yea, when I first saw heavenly sword and dragon sabre trailer in 2019 I thought jackson became an actor since I've never knew of joseph zeng before lol
excellent. I think a lot of people are a bit hung up on the ending because they forgot who the main character is.. it's hyun woo and his revenge arc. he was reborn into jdj and lived as jdj for the vast majority of the show but it's not jdj's revenge guys.
maybe they could've executed the ending a little better since 1 ep to throw everything at us makes it seem a little rushed, but how it ended I have no problem with.

just my ocd wanting continuity lol
btw, rewind back to season 1... how in the world did JBY's body gain sight after the soul exchange?
