idk why "heroic husband" is the translation lol, like in 2021 with the drama "my heroic husband" when the chinese title is "zhui xu"
in chinese "zhui xu" is a "son-in-law living at wife's parent's house" (and it's normally deemed humiliating for the son-in-law because he's essentially married into her family where as it's normally a bride marries into the husband's family). we don't have such a thing in english so probably why they made something up but it's nowhere near to what it should be translated to lol.

as of ep 10 he does. when they were eating together with her fam in ep 7 and her brother brought it up that they both have doctorates.

it's high self esteem because she knows she's not an "idiot" lol. home girl has a PhD, and in recent eps he knows too (he probably knows long before, I doubt he was oblivious to her existence when they were same age in college)

but yea I've been watching this with vietsub since they are up to date with the very latest eps and in her internal dialogues she refers to him as "guy who puts on air" so I think she understands his cocky/stand offish personality and just doesn't take it too seriously

Their crime was being a negative influence on her as “advisors” since she’s such a bad person. Secondly, their existence and relationships with her brings negative rumor for her and the royal family.

But yea, emperor ordered it so it’s not without a “just” cause according to the laws of their time.

I thoroughly enjoyed both seasons. Thank you to the show for not killing any familiar “good guy” character during the last climatic battle. That is always an instant -2points for me lol and completely ruins a possibly superb show.

His “mom” is looney(real/fake idk lol) and thinks he’s some poor kid coming to her brothers house for food etc (she’s a 16year old young lady of the house when she’s talking to him in this manner). He’s going along with her mental state, pretty sure he doesn’t know his real identity at this point. He doesn’t call her mom because that will F with her mental state, she’ll be like why tf are you calling me mom and have an episode

I finished the novel a couple weeks ago but I'm going to have to wait for this to finish airing so I can binge it. Don't think I can handle waiting for new eps weekly lol.

lmao I started this because of Sun Ya Li (jingjing's assistant) but wow this is probably better than the other "you are my.." drama which was one of the best shows I've seen.
