I see that this is not a lot of people’s cup of tea but I honestly am enjoying it, yes it started out telling you how they will end up because lying is not a way to start a relationship and they went the realistic route with it, the female lead is pretty strong and scheming which I loved she is to the male lead is the perfect partner they go along so well, I tried to focus more on the whole story rather than just the main characters story and I found it very entertaining

I think you misunderstood what I am saying lol, I was watching as it was airing but I was just letting the other person know that when you feel it gets boring it gets even more interesting this drama is 10/10 and I have been watching for over 10 years now so it is hard for a drama to be this flawless

it fortunately does! it continues to be interesting and when you feel like it starts to get boring a major event happens they really know how to keep you invested until the end!

they are supposed to be 38 years old in the drama which they still look young but a lot of Asians usually look quiet young at that age so it is not very unrealistic

Esther Yu really surprised me with her acting, I am so used to her being cute this character shows how versatile she is

I feel that he choose to kill his wife himself because Wanning is an absolute psycho, she will not kill but literally torture her to death, her character in the novel was way worse (had a hidden place to torture people for fun) so even though they didn’t show this in the drama making her less crazy but I think this is what SYR was thinking rather kill her himself would be less painful than leaving her with Wanning, in the novel I believe Wanning was the one that tortured XFF to death and SYR was more evil too, I think he thinks his sister and mother are more important because of filial piety his dad passed away and left him to take care of the family so I understand why his mother and sister are more important than the wife but that doesn’t really validate his evilness, I feel like he had the choice to go back to his hometown when things were getting bad but he choose Wanning because of the power it would give his family and to him even though the drama is showing that he was made to do it in the novel it was his own choice to follow Wanning

this is mostly a guess since from what I remember they don’t really emphasize it much but there are a couple of changes from the novel, Jiang Li was in the temple for 8 years in the novel while 10 years in the drama which probably makes her character in the novel be around 16 while in the drama she seems to be 18, Xiao Heng’s name in the novel is Ji Heng (not sure why the change, maybe because of the stepmom having the same last name??) but he should be in his 20s (21-22) shouldn’t be that old in the drama and novel, Xue Fangfei was older as she was married and all and I am thinking she is probably 18-20 in the novel and around 20-21 in the drama (girls are usually looking to get married by 15 in ancient China) I feel that dramas as they try to lean more towards current times having characters older than 15 when they are married because it is weird

nope I noticed that cdramas upload the ost on the international music sites after the drama finished airing

she actually says something that related to that in the novel, she doesn’t want something used by someone else

ahhhhhh this episode was so full of events I didn’t notice it was ending until the end credits

there is a scene coming up probably in the last episodes where they ran away together and just get their little peaceful life after they got married

usually dramas in general start getting boring at this point but every episode is interesting in this one so many storylines I am pretty surprised how good this is turning out, I also saw some unreleased scenes and pictures and there are so much more coming still

WXY real life personality is absolutely hilarious, this dude laughs at everything, his performance in this drama really shows how great of an actor he is

I like to watch true crime so here is a basic clarification on why he is like this: psychopaths as they target a victim which is Im Sol in this situation wouldn’t stop until they get rid of it. Kim Young Soo is definitely a psychopath no other questions asked.
