Great Music and Plot

I really enjoyed this show. It had some really great music in it. The main girl was really nonchalant and had a really rough life. It has a supernatural element as he makes a pact with the devil to become famous and young again so there's that. Devil character became relatively likable and grew a bit by the end (just a tad). Things I didn't like however was the selfishness of the main character sometimes. I felt that he only really cared about his goals and didn't really consider the feelings of anyone else.

Again, this show is a great watch for music and some supernatural drama. Also, I thought there would be romance, though I didn't want any, but it surprised me they didn't make it romantically focused.

Daebak!!!!

I was utterly surprised how good this movie turned out. I saw Lee Dong Wook was in it and thought why not. Man when I tell you he is the best villain I've seen in a long time. He was manipulative, conniving, endearing, likable, crazy, etc. I absolutely loved him. Si Won or whatever his name was absolutely adorable. He looked so innocent in the beginning and you could slowly see his mental decline as he fell into darkness. Ending was great, they didn't drag it out too long.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS.

One Word: Hilarious

This drama was absolutely funny. I really loved the relationship between the main guy and girl. A righteous rich girl and a con artist, seems like an oddly pair. His whole team was weird in a good way. They used illegal means to help those the law left behind but came upon some goofy circumstances. I really liked watching this drama. I wish we had a bit more depth to the characters but overall still a really good drama.

I would definitely recommend watching if you want a drama to watch that's not heavy or melodramatic. I watched this show on a whim and doesn't regret it at all.

Nothing Simple of Amazing!

I had high hopes for this drama and it exceeded each of those hopes. The plot was engaging, I didn't want to wait for another episode. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. The show had one overlapping case with smaller cases thrown in the mix so you didn't get bored waiting on developments of the bigger case and the villain. Another amazing villain actor that I never expected. Definitely worth a watch if you're into a bit of supernatural (her hearing was bordering supernatural levels) and detective work.

Love a Good Music Drama

I loved this drama. The music in this show was AMAZING! They used very talented Taiwanese singers and the quality was very noticeable. The main character was very likable, her nemesis was not- per usual. Chris and her chemistry was very apparently less than half way through and the amount of care he showed her was refreshing. The whole drama that happened to Chris later in the show to save her was very touching and he took that suffering like a champ for his girl. Also, the ending could've been better, that's why it didn't get a perfect 10 from me. If you want a good music drama with great music, amazing acting, and good character development- this is the one!

Pleasantly Surprised

I actually liked this drama. I began the drama hating it because Ming Dao's shallow outlook on life really irked my nerves. And the fact that Cheryl's character was his fan only made it worse. You would assume one would treat their fans better than he treated her. Then he also basically left her in a bathroom with gross water dropped on her and encouraged his employees abuse of her. I hated him. However, his growth in this drama was astronomical. He finally realized how beautiful she was inside and out. Chris Wu was my absolute favorite. He was a great guy the entire show and I really wished he'd been the main lead here. Though I liked it, the drama at the end was totally unnecessary and only dragged the show out more. The last two episodes had its own drama that was uncalled for, we should've been given way more fluff time in those ending episodes. Good drama yet and still.

Definitely Not What I Expected

I started this drama with my sister and she immediately dropped it. She didn't like the main lead's voice. However, I stuck with it and it was definitely better than I'd expected. Main female lead was likable, had a good head on her shoulder and reacted how one would when faced with a terrible boss like him. The main male lead, however, did a great job acting wise and his character development throughout the show was not rushed at all. The romance didn't feel genuine to me between the two and some parts were so ridiculous that it almost took away from the plot. However, I still enjoyed it and would re-watch if I needed a good laugh.

Amazing Film

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. The acting, the plot, the progression throughout the film were absolutely amazing. The ending really shocked me and it came to a clean and pretty decent close. The twists you never saw coming and when you thought you knew what was going on, it changed. I loved it. I thought it was a sci fi movie at first but it came together so nicely and to think back on it, you are able to put the pieces together. It was refreshing seeing this amazing movie. Writing, acting and I am sure directing was spot on!

One of the Worst Sequels Ever!!!

I felt like this movie rode the coattails of Train to Busan, just to fall off before it even started. The beginning was okay, even though there were some illogical moments. Then we go four years into the future when they return to Korea for some random gangster to collect all the US cash left behind. Throw in the stereotypical crazy people left behind and a random family who have been surviving on nearly impossible driving skills and no contact with the outside world (nearly impossible in this day in age, let alone the future) and you have a baseless plot, weak set up, and overall crappy movie.

I was soooo looking forward to this movie and it let me down to the ultimate power. It was unbearably long and the plot was muddled. Also, the main character had no motivation. He really was a hollow individual- they did little to no development of him as a person so he wasn't really likeable. Only good thing I can say about this movie is that the effects and graphics were good. They also had some cool looking scenes. Other than that, it was a flop.

Chef was Misogynistic

I absolutely hated the male lead in the beginning. He was highly misogynistic by firing all the women in the kitchen as he had a grudge against an ex who did him wrong. However, main female lead really wanted to work in that kitchen (which you find out why later) and after being accepted continues to be bossed around by the all-male staff. She then develops an infatuation with her boss who then falls in love with her as well and breaks his own rule to not date in his kitchen. We finally get over the misogyny on his end, just for it to resurface in the end when she's offered to study abroad for culinary arts. Ugh! I liked their pairing, chemistry seemed great but the writers must've had something against women because there wasn't a moment that her being a woman wasn't mentioned. It got irritating.

Cute Romantic Comedy

This drama is one of the few dramas I actually rewatch when I want to see an unconventional pairing. Lee Dong Wook and the female lead had great chemistry throughout (even when bickering and hating each other) and their funny antics were actually funny. It wasn't cringy at all seeing him or her make goofy faces or act over the top. Acting of everyone was quite good actually and the stalker plot gave it a bit of umph that was needed to not make it too boring.

However, some of the other plots in the show (different situations that happened) were a bit too much and should've been investigated by the police. Not a weird roommate and his manager. Also, the romance for this couple bloomed way too late. She began liking him almost at the halfway mark but it didn't materialize to almost the last two episodes. Like What?? Why wait until it's almost over to begin the romance? Still a good show though.

HOT HOT HOT

Man this drama was sooo steamy I binged watched it in one day. I absolutely love Jasper Lui (for one) but also his chemistry with Puff Guo was amazing. I found his character a bit annoying at first because she was definitely not interested in the beginning and he was still catering to his girlfriend who cared more about status than her relationship with him. I did feel bad for their partners though, even though you find out why Jasper's character became so distant later and it was a very good reason. However, again, this show is about infidelity. It doesn't glorify it per se but if you're a person who feels strongly cheating is wrong regardless you'll not like this drama at all. The main guy doesn't even care she has a fiance nor that he's still in a relationship that he's being guilted into.

Great watch regardless though!

Was Okay at Best!

The beginning of this drama really drew me in. You had a ghost that was out here controlling people and committing crimes. Sounded amazing. Show progressed and I was still enthralled however, the closer it got towards the end, the more ridiculous it felt. Main character was weak, couldn't really do anything to help them. The villain was wayyy too powerful, which made any bouts they had with her anti-climatic as you knew she would win again. The last few episodes of plotting and planning were boring and I wasn't really invested in the characters the last few episodes to be honest. And the ENDING WAS HORRIBLE too.

Save yourself the time, skip this one. Many of ghost detective dramas out there to see.

WHY ALL THE LIES?!

I wanted to love this drama. The main guy is one of the few actors I actually look forward to seeing. His kissing skills were just as amazing in this drama as it is in his other dramas. Main woman was independent, a con artist, but still very likable. I liked that she was an older single mom as well, though her kid wasn't in the show at all. However, the experiment was ridiculous, he was breaking all kinds of rules if you studied even intro to psychology (the biggest being getting the subject's consent) and he then engaged in a romantic relationship with her. Chemistry between them was good but he LIED to her like 5 times about this darn experiment. First two times were understandable but he would not let go to this idea about love. It just got ridiculous. Almost until the end he was trying to trick her which made me very upset and kinda ruined the plot for me.

Not Very Memorable

I watched Cinderella's Stepsister many years ago as I was into this melodramatic mood. The show's premise looked unique, telling the story from the stepsister's perspective. In the beginning, I found it interesting enough to continue watching but at some point the plot became so monotonous and repeated itself over and over again. The romance was nice when we got to see it but most times it was filled with misunderstandings. The "Cinderella" character was pretty useless most of the drama. All she did was cry and put her feelings off on other people. She didn't even act like an adult most times, which was super frustrating. Both Stepsister girl and the guy did a great job.

I would honestly recommend not watching if whiny people annoy you, I almost stopped watching this show because I could barely stomach the sister.
