In principle this is a very good drama. Particularly the first 10 episodes when the prosecutor suffers from memory loss. But this is too long and it got draggy in the second half. I couldn't stand to watch the antagonist's sneering face anymore towards the end, although Uhm Ki Joon is a very good actor indeed. Finishing this took forever and my rating dropped from 8.5 to 7.0. Ji Sung is great in this drama as are all the other actors, the child actor and the veterans playing prisonmates.

Most people don't understand when they are being taken for a ride. You're very right about how this drama tries to manipulate feelings. I didn't fall for it, but I can see most MDLers did. They are such fools and even outraged that not everyone reacts the same way.

The Light in Your Eyes was very badly written, Duty After School part 2 was trash, I'm really afraid that Daily Dose of Sunshine with my favorite actress will be garbage.

Indeed that would have been a great ending. He finally had a change of heart in the end, that was great.

The tone of this drama is so different, am fairly sure everyone gets a happy ending. As in Our Blooming Youth. Oasis was a tragedy from start to finish and it was always clear things would not turn out well.

I'm waiting to learn more about Shi Yeol's past. I'm sure the drama will have a happy ending and none of the 3 dies. Life-threathening situations have always turned out well in earlier episodes, so this is the tone of the drama and its genre, I think.

The Glory is morally and philosophically pure trash. No philosophy or religion in the world supports revenge. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. The panel were blind to the Alchemy of Souls. But it will become a classic and watched for decades to come whilst the Glory will be forgotten next year.

The last 2 episodes were fantastic. This was a heartwrenching drama and even more weighty because of the historical background. Kudos to the writer and all actors. Choo Young Woo and Jin Yi Han should get award nominations. I'm prob in the minority bc I though that for a tragedy a more suitable ending would have been that Doo Hak had really died. But in any case, the finale lifted my scoring from 8.5 to 9.0

Yes, this is a sidetrack, but the situation is the same everywhere. And pigs are even more intelligent than dogs... I don't get the dilemma either: people who are animal lovers eat animals which are raised in horrendous circumstances. I never eat anything I could become friends with - aka no meat. How much meat is eaten in k-dramas and how highly that is praised is an eternal mystery to me.

Eunjin's versatility is amazing indeed. She deserves so much praise. Dohyun is showing new sides of himself, too.
