I don't think women's position is very much better in many countries of this world right now and in real life…
My key concern is that trigger warnings damage society and freedom of expression as a whole. Trigger warnings are becoming universal in streaming platforms, and the idea of a safe space is dangerously expanded into the world of fiction. It creates a cultural hypersensitivity and paranoia. Because trigger warnings encourage an exaggerated preoccupation with our own feelings and they encourage us to think of ourselves as more weak and fragile than we really are. Trigger warnings create demands for sterilized content. This is pretty clearly observable in MDL. I can easily fathom a future where even dramas like the Red Sleeve must be bought from a black market.

Trigger warnings are ineffective or even harmful. Trigger warnings do not actually serve the purpose for which they are intended. They do help prevent distress. They may even allow PTSD patients to both avoid learning how to deal with triggers and avoid getting help. One of the key symptoms of PTSD is avoidance, which can become the most impairing symptom of all. People can’t be protected from their histories, and making trauma central to one’s identity is just a choice which doesn't have to be made. People should learn to confront their triggers because it's a part of recovery, growing up, and we need the ability to make distinctions between real dangers and fictional dangers.

Epi 9 -10 will be aired this week. Do you guys still think A-Mi will end up with pan sa-hyun just like at season…
Yep, I think they said in an interview that the ending of S2 is how it'll go. A-Mi now seems to be bored with the doctor.

I would say generally for people who haven't been around each other it's a bit odd if they got engaged that easily.…
Seon Ban said to Song Won, when they were negotiating the language lessons, that he'd never been interested in physical contact, but would like to experience fatherhood. Then he also asked her to bring the baby to the lessons.

I haven't really seen it discussed or advertised, so I just wanted to take a second to point it out.If you haven't…
I don't think women's position is very much better in many countries of this world right now and in real life the abuse and limited rights of women are unfortunate facts. How can people then get triggered by a historical drama? Characters are not fictional here but the setting is history. If people get triggered by and suffer from bad things portrayed in fiction, what then about real life. There's no country in this planet where abuse of women and things like rape and human trafficking do not occur. I mean we do have to be able to control our emotions and reactions to some degree if we are to live in this world. Getting triggered by everything is a poor choice of a lifestyle since it seems to me it's just endless running away from potential sadness and acknowledgement of facts. Sad things are part and parcel of the human experience.

Title Memory
This is a serious drama, worth watching due the poignancy of the topic. It's sympathetic, the law cases are interesting, and there's Junho in a support role (he doesn't get much screen time but what he gets to do he does well). The pacing is too slow in many places and repetition and flashbacks made me skip a whole lot of scenes. Nevertheless, I'm glad I watched Memory, it was definitely not a waste of time.

Sexual compatibility is not guaranteed based on just knowing someone from the work environment. That's what I meant when I said there are hints that Seo Ban is an asexual.

Totally agree with you 👻 Wonder who the writers and producers are going to have her ghost possess before she…
In fact, what a great idea. High Strung couldn't get any worse so a good solution!

These kinds of scenes have been the best and why I originally liked the series a lot

Kudos to Pi Young on the intelectual and calm way she told her daughter about the choice she made to divorce her…
Loved those 2 scenes. Also the one where Shi Eun told her ex she was getting married, in such a cool refined manner. These kinds of conversations have been the best thing in the whole series. I don't get the ghosts and rest of the madness in season 3.

Soompi writer thinks people who watch this are FANS of writer and DIG the ghost and possession themes. https://www.soompi.com/article/1517257wpp/3-reasons-behind-love-ft-marriage-and-divorce-3-rising-in-popularity - I think he/she gets it wrong though. Reasons to watch are many, at least I'm watching for observing how twisted and sick will it get (based on first 6 episodes). And for the discussion here. Watching a trainwreck is not my usual cup of tea, but I liked the first 2 seasons for their realism.

Reading a lot of the comments doesn't anyone think that Dong Ma is a bit creepy? Just because he's rich, it's…
The way he wanted Ga Bin to hit him and fell for a scream - I'd say he's a creep (narcissist with an S/M fetish). That would have been okay if either Ga Bin and Pi Young had been on the same wavelenght, but they aren't, at all. It's very odd to think about as a good catch, imo. But I'm learning about cultural differences in women's position, perhaps. Reading these comments is educational.

Title Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Spoiler
ep. 13. Hwal "You just stabbed me with scissors. Did you change your mind about killing me?" Sang Un: "Oh, that just happened" (=never mind, such small things). And they go on with hanging the laundry. Bulgasal, you just have to take it for what it is. Not finding out what happened 600 years ago, they're now trying to figure out what happened 1000 years ago. In the last 2 episodes, will be 2000 years probably.

Re ep. 6 ending, how could Pi Young let such an unbalanced person see her daughter, even from a distance. When she hasn't even let Ji-a know about the divorce. He could easily have approached Ji-a and spilled his whole obsession and that would have been awful for Ji-a. It doesn't make any sense, since Pi Young is so protective. And Pi Young acknowledged how Dong Ma only cared about his own feelings, not hers.
