This is definitely hinting a second season???? Probably wanna copy the puzzle pieces killer.....I'm kind of proud…
I agree about all points. They could have shown flashbacks to the murder scenes in the last episode. And also about Lee Joo Young, it would have been nice if she had had a more decisive role. Cast was awesome.
I don't think the last scene hints at a second season but something else
Ena was present at all the murder scenes. The last scene leaves us to still wonder whether she had anything to do with the murders. They had us guessing about that the whole time. She definitely could have been an associate of the psychiatrist since they were close friends. And the psychiatrist seemed to have a strong hold on Ena mentally and was almost like a sister or mother to Ena. Ena went into the car with the psychiatrist without calling the cops first. And they didn't show how many of the murders took place; in the last one Ena was the only one around. I guess I interpret this as a semi-open ending.
In any case, a brilliant psychological thriller which I throughly enjoyed. Except that revenge as a motive and a psycho as a killer were let downs to me. Neither motive ever makes real sense. 9/10 for me - was 9.5 before the last 2 episodes.
The first 4 episodes are introductory and we're just meant to throw ourselves in the experience. And not care about not being able to understand. It comes across like witnessing a hallucination, a fever dream. The cinematography is awesome. The realities of the story start becoming clear in ep 5. In the end it's all clear. It's a sad but beautiful story. As others already said, experimental and arthouse would be the best words to describe this.
Heo Sung Tae is such a screen stealer in this, so funny. The first episode was film-lenght (1:30) and entertaining. I hope they can keep it up for 16 eps. Anyways, seated and waiting for Oh Jung Se's and Go Jun's appearance.
I guess this is based on real life cases like D.P (same screenwriter) and I'm strongly in favor of the realistic background. This is better than I expected (I thought it would be all fluff but it isn't). I particularly like how their YouTuber income is built on blackmail, since current examples of that are too many (consider the Tzuyang case for instance). We can expect significant character growth. Also: Seol In Ah and Cha Hak Yeon are so good in this.
I think i saw another xiaoduo walking with an umbrella when the recent xiaoduo was in a delivery moto. So, maybe…
A good explanation, hope you're right. Although I was more inclined to think it was Xiaoduo who was really in the hospital.... because the doctor said she had to get rid of Xu Tian....and that Xu Tian was him (the doctor). Very confusing.
Writer-director is the same who wrote and directed Fearless Blood. The main character's name in Fearless Blood is Xu Tian. The ML of Fearless Blood was the guy in the post office. If you haven't watched FB yet, it's one of the best dramas I've ever seen.
