Ep 1 was like getting started from Ep 10. I lost my faith in the drama. Was looking forward to it but none of the events were interesting when not even knowing the characters. (Also, I don't believe humans have ever been cannibals even at worst times)

geez, someone that devours trash and then comes to moralize others about it....LOL

And this drama is not for the red flag/green flag Karens (or Kennys). You've been warned so none of that moralizing belongs here. Karens, avoid this at all cost.

Completely over the top, crazy and funny. Not purposefully funny but funny to me. Like a watching a really bad b-movie but enjoying it for it being what it is. Am watching wholly unseriously and loving the fact that they made something this different.

So much fun! I find myself smiling all the time. I hope we stick in the fantasy and this doesn't get more realistic later on. I wish all rom coms were like this! Absolutely love the mains!

Interesting, I didn't pay attention but the darker mode was indeed use for flashbacks. I only paid attention to what the narrator told "Ichiro Takaki was never heard of again". When he remembered his happier moments during the crash I though he died. I thought the reference to destroying evidence referred to that the Japanese destroyed everything that could be used in international courts to convict them of war crimes. I failed to notice this concerned the spy organization (gotta check again).

These scenes were both so great. And there was the one in the beach when the villagers attacked the Japanese. I totally didn't expect to laugh during ep 44 when ML & FL were full throttle crashing into the sea. But what a great bridge to looking at their happier moments. I enjoyed this drama so much.
