whoa... I took a couple weeks break and just started watching this show again and... what the **** is happening now? O_o Burning Sun? Again?? gimme a break... -_-
Well... we've just reached the POINT OF NO RETURN. Just a few more days and it's gonna be exactly 2 months since the last episode. (I've never seen a show get greenlit past 2 months of its pilot)

WTF happened to the story???! Did the writer somehow watch Crows Zero and WindBreaker and was like "fuck this! I'mma combine those two stories' characters with Weak Hero Season 2 and it's gonna be awesome!!"
gad damn it... I liked the Manhwa and loved the way they changed the story a bit in Season 1 but what they did with Season 2 was just... what even is this?? -_-
I'm guessing, these would be their birthyears: Seoyeon - 1991 → had the typical demeanor of someone born in Year of The Sheep. Huiyeong - 1993 → standard Rooster vibes! A-yo~! (I'm also 32yrs. old hehe) Jin Ah - 1994 → she's giving Dog vibes and I could tell she was slightly younger than me Mirang - 1995 → was quite happy when Dagyo guessed 28. Pretty high chance she's a Pig based on that kinda reaction Riwon - 1998 → At first I thought 97, but she felt more like a Year of The Tiger person. Dagyo - 1999 → her quickness in leaving the 2 alone screams Year of The Rabbit to me... Han Gyeol - 2006 → At first I thought 2005 because she seemed like a young female version of me but then someone said it's confirmed to be '06. Oh well... but if she was born in January then that still makes her a Rooster xD

Right... I was wondering why nobody in the room was pointing out the fact that HanGyeol looked like a teenager/college-freshman. At first glance, I was like "What the hell is a teenager doing in there?!"
but then again, I think Riwon realized she was a teenager around the second half of Episode 2. It was quite funny seeing how Riwon kept pointing out her child-like demeanor/attitude.

Damn, tried it today but dropped after Episode 1... I kinda see now as to why the others are also saying that this is the worst season.
Personally, I think it's a lot to do with the editing style. This feels more rushed compared to S1,2&3 and there was almost no eye-contact scene which is crucial (I think) for Episode 1s of these kind of shows. The budget also felt pretty small this time around.
I remember the Opening Episodes of the first three seasons being more grand and had more romantic vibes in terms of the edits.
Let's just hope there's more good 'relationship/dating' shows to come this 2025 =))
I just saw the trailer today (didn't know it's been out for a couple months already).
Anyways! I'm hyped because at around 11 seconds in the trailer -- that game looks like the VERY FIRST GAME from the anime original. I was kinda sad when they didn't include it in the live action, more so that it wasn't their first game because that's what actually SET THE TONE of HOW TO SURVIVE in the Borderlands, for me at least.
I felt that the Netflix version's FIRST GAME didn't really capture the essence of the Borderlands..
My close friend and his wife have an age gap of 14 years, and they are happily married with 1 son.

I'm just thinking maybe a 10~20 year age gap seems less when the ages are around 40~59 because life experiences stack much more slowly the older you get but that age gap at 20~39 seems too large since most of your "first times" is bound to happen in your 20s. More often than not, the mental maturity of the younger person is gonna be way below than that of the older one in the relationship.
Daaamn... 15 year age gap... Personally, I'd only go for 4 years older or 8 years younger --anything above or below feels like there'd be some disconnect in terms of 'life experiences' and just general knowledge of things to talk about.
Ideally, the jobs that would fit the most as a "power couple" would be: Lawyer + Doctor Pilot + Engineer Consultant + Strategist ... a Painter + Dancer couple would be nice but this would be the hardest route (if we're looking at this from a 'game' perspective where you choose the difficulty you want to play).
They're probably waiting for ArtOfNegotiation to finish... the only thing "I think" that could prevent this from getting approved as a regular show is if they have something big waiting in line after AoN's finale.
They most likely wouldn't be getting rid of Talk Pawon(currently in the TUE 10PM time slot) just for this... since Talk Pawon is consistently getting around 3% viewership ratings while Knowing Foreign HighSchool's Pilot Eps couldn't even get past 1%.
Anyways, we're just gonna have to wait till April 20 ^_^
what do they mean by catfish, fake housemate, or just a latecomer? and is it an episode a week?
I believe they only explained it in HS1 upon the appearance of the first female latecomer and have never really explained it again since...but basically, they're using the term "Catfish" based on the Norwegian sense -- which is basically a Predator vs Prey thing. It's to keep the contestants motivated instead of getting too comfortable.
and ummm, if you think about it... adding the Catfish too early doesn't really make sense if the goal is to create the "Catfish Effect". I think that's why some commenters are pointing out that the timing is kinda awkward...
