I have a solution for them. If all scenes must happen instead of avoiding them they should do them. For example they can act the stabbing scene but without actually hurting each other (we saw the fake nife exsist in the dream world). The choice scene can be acted out be NH and SH impersonating LSL at the same time and each choosing his lady.

I can’t remember what was the last one.

I believe they will discover why the pigpens never reached Nun Heng and he will make pace with the general.
The general will realize his mistake and face the emperor along side him.
The emperor will die and he will become the emperor.
She will understand him and help uncover the truth.
The truth will be spread and all the kingdom will love him.
They will wake up loving each other.
(that would follow the pattern of typical historical dramas) 🤓
