this ending meeeh
I really enjoyed the culinary concepts, they were creative and engaging. Unfortunately, the romance storyline was absolutely uninteresting to me and dragged the whole thing down. The worst part was the ending, which felt so rushed it was like they just gave up halfway through. That completely killed the vibe and left me disappointed. Honestly, it turned what could have been a solid, enjoyable experience into something pretty meh, which is a shame because the cooking parts were really on point.

Yumi's Cells Season 3 Literally Healed My Heart
FINALLY after waiting since 2022 after season 2 ended, Yumi's Cells season 3 is finally here and I swear this drama made me laugh, giggle, feel butterflies, then suddenly emotional all over again šAt first, I honestly didnāt expect to love Yumi and Sunrok THIS much because I used to be such a Yumi and Babi supporter. Even though I already knew Sunrok was the endgame, I still wasnāt fully convinced. But WOW Kim Jae Won really surprised me. He fits Sin Sunrok SO perfectly and totally captured that cute younger boyfriend energy.
And can we talk about how SWEET Sunrok is??? Like finally... FINALLY Yumi gets loved the way she deserves after everything she went through with Ung and Babi. Watching Sunrok love Yumi so openly made me so emotional because Yumi spent so much time feeling disappointed in her past relationships. Meanwhile Sunrok is over here expressing his feelings so honestly that even Yumi gets shocked herself š Watching them together seriously made me want a younger boyfriend too lol.
What made me fall for Sunrok the most is the way he treats Yumi. He listens to her carefully, buys her snacks, respects her boundaries, stays honest, and always reassures her whenever she feels insecure. And when Yumi asks what he likes about her, he actually answers properly every single time š Bare minimum for real men but somehow it felt SO refreshing after watching Ungās huge ego and Babi being too easily swayed by other women.
Honestly, following Yumiās story from season 1 until now feels so personal. It feels like I grew together with her all these years. Seeing her slowly learn, get hurt, heal, and finally receive the kind of love she deserves made me genuinely emotional. At this point, whatever decision Yumi makes, Iām supporting her forever.
And the cells??? STILL the best part of the drama š The Yumi cells and Sunrok cells were so funny and adorable. But Sunrokās naughty cell seriously stole the whole show because WHY was it so giant while Sunrok himself looked tiny next to it š I couldnāt stop laughing every time it appeared. Iām seriously going to miss all these cells so much.
Also the OSTs NEVER disappoint. Every season somehow keeps delivering amazing soundtracks. The whole drama honestly feels so well made. The acting, the writing, the music, the production, the visual effects, everything just feels full of heart.
One of my favorite things about this drama is the message behind the cells themselves. In our own lives, we are actually the main character inside our own little cell village. Our cells love us, protect us, and always want the best for us even when we donāt realize it. Watching this drama weirdly made me feel comforted and reminded me to love myself more too.
BUT I only have ONE complaint WHY did season 3 only get 8 episodes š Previous seasons had 14 episodes and I am NOT satisfied. I needed way more sweet Yumi and Sunrok moments because they were way too cute together.
Still, no matter what, this drama will always stay special to me and I already know Iāll keep rewatching season 3 again and again because it was just THAT sweet, comforting, and lovable šš

Ming Yi & Ji Bo Zai Own My Entire Heart
This drama is INSANE. I swear itās one of the best Chinese dramas in 2025!! Totally worth the long wait cuz itās just THAT good!!Iām so so obsessed with Ming Yi and Ji Bo Zai like omg their love is CRAZY. Theyāre so wild and dramatic together, I couldnāt even look at any other couple lol the romance between them is overflowing, literally feeding my soulā¦.
The early episodes?? Perfection. Theyāre dramatic in the funniest way possible and Ming Yi being all clingy?? I was screaming sheās sooo cute š
And donāt even get me started on Minghao as Ji Bo Zai⦠HEāS SO FINE šš„ handsome, cool, everything. Then Lu Yu Xiao as Ming Yi PERFECT. I canāt imagine anyone else playing them, they just are the characters.
The plot is so good too, like every episode makes you wanna click ānextā right away. No boring moments at all, everything feels just right. Plus the visuals so aesthetic, itās pure eye candyā¦
AND YES itās a HAPPY ENDING I really thought Ji Bo Zai would sacrifice himself but nope!! He and Ming Yi saved the six realms together like true power couple šš«¶ and omg the drunk clingy Ji Bo Zai at the end?? ICONIC. Early eps we got clingy Ming Yi, then at the end we got clingy Ji Bo Zai⦠my heart is full.
I love this drama SO MUCH. Definitely rewatching cuz itās totally worth it, like 100% rewatch material.

Shadow Love Made Me Fall for Cheng Lei All Over Again
I started watching Shadow Love mainly because of Cheng Lei and Song Yi, and honestly, it did not disappoint at all. Some people were leaving hate comments saying their chemistry wasnāt working, but to me it was totally there. The tension, the banter, the little emotional beats, they nailed it.One of the biggest highlights for me was Cheng Leiās acting upgrade. He didnāt just play one character, but three completely different ones: Xuan Yike, Jināan, and Duan Aodeng. Each role felt distinct, and it really showed how much range heās built as an actor. Among them, Jināan stood out for being both intense and hilariously awkward š sometimes I even felt embarrassed for him. His struggle with Yulinglong, especially the scenes where heās tempted to drink Shuangās blood, gave the drama so much edge.
Story-wise, Shadow Love feels like a breath of fresh air. Iāve seen plenty of Chinese dramas, but I honestly havenāt come across one like this before. The concept is unique, the pacing is engaging, and it balances action, humor, and romance in a way that makes it super bingeable.
That being said, my ultimate favorite character has to be Duan Aodeng, a.k.a. Annan Wang. Even though he only really shines from episode 30 onward, his presence is unforgettable. Out of all the characters Cheng Lei has ever played, this one tops my list, mysterious, impactful, and just impossible to ignore.
And about the ending, itās a happy ending, and I absolutely loved it. It tied everything together while still leaving me with the urge to rewatch. In fact, I already know Iāll go back to episodes 31ā35 because thatās where Duan Aodeng dominates the screen.
Overall, Shadow Love is definitely one of those dramas Iāll keep coming back to. Exciting plot, strong chemistry, and a performance that proves Cheng Lei is leveling up big time.

It Wasn't Perfect, But I Loved Every Minute
I finally finished. Started it in March and only wrapped it up in June. Not because it wasn't good, but because I honestly didn't want to say goodbye to this story. What I loved the most was how fresh everything felt. The comedy was genuinely funny and had me laughing so many times. Then whenever the emotional scenes hit, they hit hard enough to make me cry. And when certain characters got annoying, they were annoying enough to make me feel genuinely frustrated. Every emotion landed exactly where it was supposed to.
The visuals were also a huge plus. Everyone looked amazing, not just the main leads. It was one of those dramas where every scene felt nice to look at. The cinematography was beautiful too. I loved how they used colors to match the mood. The colder blue tones during the heartbreaking moments made the sadness feel even heavier, while the warm tones during the hopeful and romantic scenes made everything feel soft and comforting.
And the soundtrack deserves a special mention because every song was so good. It's one of those OST collections that stays with you long after finishing the drama.
Out of all the characters, Fan ChangYu was easily my favorite. Her character development was one of the strongest parts of the drama. I especially loved how her growth was reflected through her hairstyle. When she was still innocent and carefree, she wore two braids. As she stepped deeper into conflicts, it became a single braid. By the time she matured, her hair was simply tied back, showing a completely different version of herself. Her action scenes were also some of the coolest moments in the drama. Tian XiWei was absolutely perfect for this role.
My favorite episode was the final one. So many mysteries and hidden truths finally came together, and I appreciated that the drama spent enough time showing what happened after the main conflict instead of rushing straight to the ending. The "what if" segment was probably one of the most memorable parts for me. Seeing how their lives might have looked if the core tragedy of the story had never happened felt like getting a glimpse into another universe, and it left a surprisingly deep impression.
There were a few things that didn't fully work for me. Once the story entered the heavier conflict arc, it felt like the drama was trying to juggle too many plot points at once. I could still follow the story, but there were moments where I felt like I needed to read the novel to fully understand everything. A drama should ideally be able to stand on its own.
I was also a little disappointed with WuAn Hou, Xie Zheng. He was introduced as a Marquis and the commander of an army, someone with a terrifying reputation and a strong killing aura. Yet his action scenes were surprisingly limited, especially compared to ChangYu. It felt like the story kept telling us how dangerous he was without actually showing enough of it on screen. It was a missed opportunity because his character had so much potential beyond just being incredibly handsome.
Even with those flaws, I still loved this drama. Pursuit of Jade gave me laughter, tears, frustration, comfort, and characters I'll remember for a long time. Finishing it felt a little bittersweet, like saying goodbye to people I've spent months growing alongside. It's definitely a drama I'll come back to and rewatch someday.

Absolutely mind-blowing!!!
OMG, this drama is INSANE!! "RESET" is seriously on another level, the concept is so unique. Itās about Li Shi Qing & Xiao He Yun getting stuck in a time loop, trying to save the bus passengers from an explosion. Every time they die or fall asleep, they restart the same ride, HOW CRAZY IS THAT?!The cops in this drama? SO INTENSE. Super suspicious, sharp, and no-nonsense. I legit felt like I was getting interrogated too lol. And the way they filmed the time-loop scenes?? Imagine shooting the same location over and over, but with different emotions and dialogues each time. The attention to detail is NEXT LEVEL, the writers are pure genius!
Iāve never watched anything like this before. Now I canāt stop thinking⦠what if Korea remade it? Would it be just as epic? Either way, this drama is a PERFECT 10/10. A must-watch, NO QUESTION!!! š„

Didn't expect to love but I'm obsessed
I just finished watching the Chinese drama Legend of Zang Hai and honestly, I didnāt expect to like it this much. I started it right after binge-watching The Untamed, and since Xiao Zhan is in this one too, I thought, why not give it a try? Turned out to be a great decision.Of course, I watched it mainly for Xiao Zhan, but his acting really blew me away. I didnāt expect to love the character of Zang Hai this much. Heās smart, strategic, and has such a calm yet powerful presence. I was genuinely impressed with how well Xiao Zhan brought Zang Hai to life.
Zhang Jing Yi also stars as Antu, Zang Haiās partner. At first, I wasnāt sure how Iād feel about her in this role because I absolutely adored her in Lighter and Princess, and now I canāt help but call him āprincessā every time she appears on screen. Funny enough, she still kind of plays a āprincessā here too, but in a cool way, she runs an entertainment venue and is super skilled in martial arts. Unexpectedly badass.
What I love most about this drama is the storyline. Itās centered on revenge, which is a pretty common theme, but the way they executed it made it feel fresh. The early episodes where Zang Hai was buried alive were so intense and well-done, especially the part where he managed to escape. That scene had me holding my breath.
Zang Hai isnāt good at martial arts, but he wins with his brain. He always has a clever plan, always one step ahead of his enemies. It made every episode feel like a chess game, and I was always curious what move heād make next.
One of the most emotional parts for me was Zang Haiās relationship with Zhuang Luyin. Zhuang Luyin was supposed to be his enemy, but Zang Hai managed to gain his full trust, almost like a father and son bond. So when Zhuang Luyin died, it really hit hard. It was sad knowing we wouldnāt get more of their scenes together.
There were a few things I felt a bit iffy about though. In the beginning, I liked the subtle romance vibe between Zang Hai and Antu, but later on, it started to feel a bit... complicated. Also, Zang Haiās mentor, Gao Ming, I loved him so much. I was really hoping heād be there till the end. Their conversations were always deep and touching, and it broke my heart when he died. Iām still not over it.
Thanks to this drama, Iām now even more obsessed with Xiao Zhan and definitely planning to check out more of his works. Legend of Zang Hai is seriously one of the best, even though Iām still low-key grieving over Shifu Gao Ming.

Welcome to Samdalri is such a comforting drama
Honestly, Welcome to Samdalri is such a comforting drama. The story is really good and calming, not in a boring way, but in a āit slowly heals youā kind of way. It shows how the characters deal with their life problems, their failures, their pain, and how they donāt magically fix everything overnight. What I really like is how human it feels. People mess up, people run away, people get tired. And the drama lets them sit with those feelings. No rushing, no forcing happiness. Just healing step by step.
The biggest thing this drama made me feel is how important it is to have a place to come back to. Having a home, people who still accept you even when youāre broken⦠that kind of relief is insane. Like finally being able to breathe again.
This drama feels warm, slow, and very grounding. Itās not loud, but it stays with you. Definitely one of those dramas that makes you feel less alone.

My Thoughts on Glory of Special Forces
I finally finished Glory of Special Forces starring Yang Yang, and wow⦠what a ride! Honestly, when I first started, I wasnāt sure I could stick with it. The military theme made me hesitate a lot, but after seeing so many clips of Yang Yang from this drama, I decided to give it a try.It actually took me almost a year to finish because the story didnāt feel super intense most of the time. The drama focuses heavily on the life of soldiers, their intense training, constant readiness, and the way they have to put aside personal pride for the sake of their team. That realism is what makes it so special, even if the pacing feels slow at times.
For me, the real excitement didnāt kick in until around episode 30. Thatās when things started to feel more gripping. Still, every moment before that, the training sequences, the challenges, and the emotional struggles of each character was important and really worth watching.
What I love most is how much this drama teaches you about perseverance. It shows that you need to hold back your ego, grow up, and become better but without breaking yourself in the process. And yet, it also reminds you to keep pushing your limits when necessary

Till the End of the Moon is literally the definition of "emotional damage" ??
Tantai Jinās life was just one big tragedy from the literal womb until his very last breath like, can the universe give this man a break for once?! He spent his whole life being bullied, hated, and betrayed, and just when he finally got a tiny, microscopic slice of happiness with Li Susu, the plot just snatched it away and threw him into more despair. Itās actually insane how he sacrificed everything for a world that never even showed him an ounce of kindness. My heart is honestly in pieces!I swear, the story is so unique and the visuals are top-tier, but that ending heartbreak. I love the drama to bits but there is NO WAY Iām ever watching it again because the pain is just too much to handle. Itās a literal masterpiece of misery and Iāve officially run out of tears. Consider my heart permanently shattered Iām closing this chapter and never looking back because itās just too painful to relive that trauma!

I Watched My Journey to You for Zhang Linghe, But Stayed for Cheng Lei
I just finished watching My Journey to You in 2025, and honestly, I started this drama mainly because of Zhang Linghe. Before watching, I did a little research about the story and the ending, and I saw a lot of people complaining about the open ending and how Zhang Lingheās character was pretty annoying compared to the second lead. But the visuals looked so aesthetic that I decided to give it a try anyway. It took me six months to finish this drama because itās really slow-paced with lots of dialogue. In the beginning, I often watched it in fast-forward or while multitasking because, to be honest, it made me sleepy.
Everything changed around episode 18. Thereās this scene where Gong Sangjue, played by Cheng Lei, is looking for Yuanzhi, whoās being hidden in a cabinet. Yuanzhi was paralyzed for a moment, so he bit his tongue to make himself bleed because Sangjue can smell blood. When Sangjue realized the smell wow, that scene was just so intense and cool.
That moment completely hooked me. I actually restarted the drama, but this time I focused only on Sangjueās story and skipped everything else.
The drama itself is beautifully shot, full of poetic dialogue, and the story is actually good. But the pacing is slow and the heavy conversations can be a bit tiring. The main character, Ziyu, wasnāt really my favoriteāhe was way too obsessed with Yun Weishan and didnāt seem to care about his family at all. Meanwhile, Sangjue? He was amazing. Logical, mature, strict yet caring, and deeply protective of his younger brother. He follows the rules but knows when to fight for whatās right. And the way he was with Shangguan Qian? Total tsundere vibes, and I loved their chemistry even though I knew their story wouldnāt end happily.
By the end, the plot twists really showed how great this drama is, and honestly, it made me want to watch more of Cheng Leiās works.
Overall, My Journey to You is worth watching if you appreciate aesthetics, complex dialogue, and layered characters. Just be ready for a slow burn. If I ever rewatch, itāll be for Sangjue and Yuanzhiās scenes only.

OMG, This Drama Got Me Hooked!
I did NOT expect to love Love Between Fairy and Devil this much! This was my first time watching a Chinese fantasy costume drama, and at first, it felt kinda weird so much magic, fairies, gods, and all that. But once I got into the story, WOW, I was obsessed! The soul-swapping curse is the most unique thing ever. Every time they kiss, their souls literally switch bodies! And on top of that, they can feel each otherās emotions and pain. Like, what?! Iāve never seen anything like this, not even in K-dramas. Itās such a fresh concept that kept me hooked the whole time!
And Wang Hedi as Dongfang Qingcang? OMG, he absolutely killed this role! He starts off cold, scary, and super powerful, but once he falls in love, WOW, the way he changes! The way he goes from an emotionless demon king to a lovestruck guy who would do anything for his girl⦠UGH, PERFECTION. Wang Hediās acting is insane, switching between a terrifying warrior and a clueless, lovesick man in an instant.
Yu Shuxin as Xiao Lan Hua is pure sunshine! Her voice, her expressions, her whole vibe, sheās the ultimate mood booster! There was never a single boring moment with her on screen. Now Iām officially a fan and need to watch all her dramas because sheās just TOO CUTE.
But⦠the one thing that made me mad? THE ENDING. Dongfang Qingcang dies, and then suddenly, in the last 5 minutes, he just appears again like nothing happened? It felt so rushed! They shouldāve given us a proper explanation instead of cramming everything into 36 episodes. Such a waste because this drama was already so perfect!
But overall, I LOVE this drama! The story is so unique, the chemistry is amazing, and now Iām officially obsessed with Chinese dramas. Also⦠where can I find someone who loves me like Dongfang Qingcang loves Xiao Lan Hua? Asking for a friend. Hehe.

LOVE THIS DRAMA
OMG, Moonlight is SUCH a GEM!!! This drama is EVERYTHING, sweet, fun, and full of heart! Zhou Chuan and Chu Liās love story? ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! But wait, itās not just about romance; it also gives a super cool inside look at the publishing world, showing how editors and writers work together (LOVE THIS!!). And Zhou Chuan??? The MOST loyal bf ever!!! Like, no other girl stands a CHANCE, he only has eyes for Chu Li!! AND SHE TRUSTS HIM COMPLETELY no unnecessary drama, just pure love!! UGH, my heart is SO full!! 10/10, MUST-WATCH, and 100% REWATCHING!!!Was this review helpful to you?
THE BEST COSTUME DRAMA EVER! (10000/10 OMG)
THIS DRAMA IS PURE GOLD!!! From all the costume dramas Iāve watched (and trust me, itās A LOT), "Are You The One?" is officially THE BEST. Like, no competition. Iām giving it a 10000/10 rating because it DESERVES. Lemme tell you why:First of all, Zhang Wanyi as Cui Jiu (a.k.a. Wangye) OMG. This man is not your typical cold, stoic, "Iām-too-cool-for-you" prince. Nope. This Wangye is the KING OF TANTRUMS and honestly, the most dramatic character ever. HE. IS. HILARIOUS. The way heās always yelling or being petty?? ICONIC. I felt so bad for his assistant Moru, though poor guy just canāt catch a break from all the nagging. š
And Wang Churan as Miantang?? GIRL CRUSH ALERT. She is AMAZING. Strong, smart, and so supportive wife of Wangye. Every time she saves the day, I was just like, āYES, QUEEN, SLAY!ā And donāt even get me started on her chemistry with Wangye. They literally invented flirting while fighting. The ending scene where they argue? Perfection. Their love language is just chefās kiss.
This drama is FUNNY. Like, I legit laughed in almost every episode. The first few episodes were okay, but after episode 20? BOOM. Itās just next-level AMAZING. And donāt worry about the romance. itās there, itās beautiful, and even though there arenāt that many kissing scenes, you still feel ALL THE FEELS.
Not gonna lie, I usually donāt review dramas, but this one? Iāve already rewatched it THREE TIMES. THREE. TIMES. Thatās how much I love it. Iām actually heartbroken itās over and PRAYING for a season 2. Please, drama gods, make it happen!!

This drama is not just good, itās great. Itās worth watching over and over.
Okay, let me be honest. At first, I was so hesitant to watch this. But then... Yang Yang. The guy is just too good to miss, so yeah, I gave it a shot. And wow. Just wow. From the first few episodes, I was hooked. The characters? Amazing. The storyline? Super engaging. The whole gaming world they built? Insane. The visuals were so detailed, and the way they explained eSports and all the moves? Super detailed too. Like, they didnāt just slap eSports in there as a backgroundāthey actually went deep into it. I learned so much while watching, and it never felt boring.
One thing I loved is thereās no romance here. Zero. And Iām totally fine with that because the whole focus on teamwork and everyone working toward their dreams? So refreshing. Team Xing Xinās journey to the top is just pure inspiration.
Now, letās talk about Ye Xiu. This guy is the heart of the show. Heās funny, laid-back, and just so good at what he does. Even though heās a total pro, heās humble and always willing to teach the newbies. And his in-game character, Jun Mo Xiao (aka Lord Grim)? Iconic. I mean, who else could make an umbrella look that cool?
Another character I love is Mofan. He doesnāt talk much, but heās observant and cares in his own way. And his in-game character, Deception? A ninja. Enough said. His moves are so quick, I had to replay some scenes just to catch everything.
Last but not least, Xiao Shi Qin. The most professional and wise character out there. His in-game character, Life Extinguisher, is the definition of class. Every time he shows up, the show just feels next level.
Honestly, this drama is not just good, itās great. Itās worth watching over and over. There are so many life lessons here. If you fail, itās fine, start over. Keep going. Train harder than anyone else, and youāll get there.
So yeah, itās worth every second. 10/10 would recommend.
