So true! Back when ZZH was cast, I was really worried because in Legend of Yunxi he was so stiff and unnatural,…
I feel like in Legend of Yunxi, his character was supposed to be stiff on purpose, given all the hardships he had went through, how few people he could trust and the crazy court drama he was constantly surrounded by

Wow this episode was amazing! It became really good and dark in the last episode, but this was even better. I'm…
I hear you, the FL taking her mask off bothered me so much, she should have been more careful. The squad in the other vehicle should have taken off their protective gear, it stood out too much. Also. they lingered infront the burning building to watch the flames catch-on for way too long *face palm*. They should have pulled out of there, the second the fire was started. Also, did Vincenzo really have to use his lighter and leave it behind as evidence

The real chairman reveal would have been way more awesome if they hadn't had such a well known actor playing Jang…
Personally, I'm gratefully that I was 100% expecting him to be the villain, lots of people in the comment section here had figured it out. I could mentally prepare myself in advance. Otherwise, I would have been completely crushed, being an Ok Taec Yeon fan. Knowing the reveal, I could enjoy the over the top dorkiness of his character so far, while at the same time pondering at the level of duplicity and sneakiness involved

Do you guys think the intern/real Babel CEO really likes the FL? I was a little confused about that, was It all…
Yep, I think he does really like her. In next week's preview, he says: "Sunbae, I can't keep going easy on you", implying he has a soft spot for her. The thing that makes my head really spin is this character's level of dorky acting, when being that evil, just wow

The only thing that got me wary is the lenght of the drama. How they're going to manage the pace on 16 episodes…
I have the same concern, hoping writer-nim has got a lot of plot twists up their sleeve and will keep us engaged, while continue to make us suspicious of everyone... Fighting!

i am actually suspecting there might be 2 killers! Lee Dong Shik and his friend Park Jung He! because if i am…
There could be a lot of other victims in the 20 years in-between, considering all the emphasis on the missing person cases. Also, the immigrant murder or missing person cases Han Joo Won was working on in Foreign Affairs are somehow linked to the Manyang killings, which seems to be the reason why HJW has gotten himself transferred to the substation.

I still think it's not him, I mean why will they give away that he is the murderer in the 2nd episode itself.....I…
Agreed, there could be a lot of different explanations for the ending of 2nd episode. For example the killer left the fingers at Dong Shik's place or somewhere else that would make him look like the prime suspect again and that last scene was him moving the evidence and this would explain why he was so out of it that whole night including at team dinner.

Title Awaken Spoiler
Second episode was just as amazing. We have now been introduced to Hyewon’s father, he must have a significant…
There was one picture on the wall in Hye Won's home which showed her father wearing a white lab coat, standing with a bunch of kids, it was shown for a second only. Secondly, Hye Won's father was also on Jung Woo's personal suspect wall at the very end of the second episode. My guess is that Hye Won's father was one of the scientists conducting experiments on kids which awakened powers in some of the children. Also, I suspect that the drug dealer Ajhussi in that basement below the LP shop is Jung Woo's father

Dear MDL-ers, I really enjoyed the first two episodes, thought they were very badass, but I got so bored during episode 3 that I ended up taking a nap instead of finishing an episode. Can someone who has seen episodes 3 and 4 please let me know if this drama is worth continuing?

The most common complaint I hear about this drama is about the production/direction. I guess not everyone likes the back-and-forth in the timeline storytelling style. Also, I can't help but feel that herd mentality is a factor here. There have been so many times when I liked a drama, but then I read all the criticism here on MDL, it made me doubt my own judgement and a few times, I have even ended up lowering my rating half a point or more, after reconsidering the drama in the light of the herd judgement.

There have been times when I was one of the bashers and there have been times when I've truly liked a drama that was getting a lot of hate on here. My favorite example for this is "Something in the Rain" which the majority hated, but I adore to this day.

The point of this long ramble is that I'm learning not to discount my own feelings so easily and not pay too much attention to MDL ratings, they can be helpful at times for sure, but if I had listened to MDL ratings every single time, I would have missed out on some fav dramas.

Is it only me, that think this drama kind of good? Honestly I'm not sure because of so many criticism. Buat after…
I'm with you, I really liked this drama. First off, it's almost ridiculous, how sincerely I was rooting for favorable outcomes for our main leads. I was able to connect with the characters and their background stories. The chemistry between Cha Joo Eun and Lee Jung Hwan was so very believable. Loved Detective Kim Myung Hyun, I hope actor-nim Lee Hak Joo will get recognized through his role in this drama and get lead roles in the future. Their were so many complex, interesting, love-to-hate, morally grey characters. The dialogues were witty, refreshing and on-point. Sophia/Jung Bok Gi had some of the best dialogues. These unique aspects set this drama aside from the typical run-of-the-mill k-dramas. It has been a most entertaining journey. I will never be able to think of "documentary film makers" the same way again. lol :P

Good point there. I don't think Joon's mom is onboard with accepting Ra Ra yet, but yes, his dad must be the one behind Joon going abroad

Title Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol Spoiler
From the promo of next episode, it is clear that Joon bought the building. There was a scene in this week's episodes…
Yes, you're right, there is some backstory there as well which we will see in the next episode. My guess is that she teamed up with Joon's mom, and Joon's mom is forcing him to go abroad with her. Joon's mom is the new landlord of the saloon and Ra Ra's academy, so Joon is going along with all the crazy demands. Though last we saw, Joon was still preparing for his CSATS, so he wouldn't have gotten into a university already, if I understand the timeline correctly. Maybe his mom just wants him far away from Ra Ra.

Title Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol Spoiler
Theory on what happened in episode 14
From the promo of next episode, it is clear that Joon bought the building. There was a scene in this week's episodes when Joon went to talk to his mom and the scene was left incomplete. Joon made a deal with his mom to buy the building and in return he agreed to breakup with Ra Ra and go abroad to study. Also, there have been a lot of hints and misdirection to distract from the fact along the way, but it is clear now that Joon is definitely Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol. He would have asked grandpa to buy the piano. He was at the recital and heard her performance. He was at the wedding and knew about her situation. It was Joon all along. This is that rare drama where I'm going to be okay with a time jump, since it is fully justified and it really is an important time for Joon to study and establish his career and Ra Ra fully understands all this. She just needs to know the reasons behind Joon's actions.

Do San - Dal Mi Love Story Prediction(1) 2STO invests on SamSan Tech.(2) Do San works @2STO for 3 years.(3) Do…
I wouldn't be surprised if some variation of this comes true. this is exactly how predictable and formulaic K-drama are. It wouldn't make much sense to introduce Alex and 2STO from the initial episodes if his character doesn't contribute anything to the story, so I expect something to come out the 2STO subplot. Writers do love creating parallels in their stories, so there is a fair chance that NDS will show up in a suit again at some point. The part in these predictions that doesn't fit in with the story is that SDM is the kind of girl who chose to stay with her real dad rather than going off with an uber rich stepdad, that's the kind of loyal and courageous person she is. So this story should never go into the direction of SDM picking the richer guy or factoring wealth or even success in her decision, that would be such a disservice to Dal Mi's character.
