About Goblin - TMAI! I watched it because there was so much hype about the main couple but it was too awkward🙈. I stayed for the Second couple in the end and the overall plot but the MC romance just didn’t work for me.

It would be an interesting topic ngl specially considering the cast’s personal experience too. I love how so far they weren’t afraid to discuss heavy topics in the drama so if they do choose to take an idol case, it might actually be handled well (hopefully).

It’s probably because she wasn’t ready at the time. Perhaps both the ex and Yun were busy with their careers to really think about growing their family at the time? But now that she is more mature/ at a stable position, she’s at a place where she can take a maternal role now?

I mean Yun doesn’t seem to be interested in taking larger role at the law firm either for somebody who has all the markings of a good leader. Perhaps that too could be part of his trauma with his ex? Not giving enough assurance to the Ex at the time to make her comfortable enough to at least discuss her decision?

(I’m not blaming Yun btw - the ex should have kept him in the loop since not having kids was a serious point they had previously agreed on).

They showed the ex wife in ep 2 -after Yoon dropped Hash back at doggy day care, a woman in a white suit went in to pick him up.

I really hope the mum doesn’t collude with the annoying Ex to get them back together in a misguided attempt to patch things up with KHM.

Honestly how heartless can she be to take away their dog after treating him the way she did? The abortion itself is understandable I guess but she should have kept him in the loop instead of hiding it completely/ blind siding him given her excuse was that “we did agree prior to our marriage”.

I’m curious to know her side of the story even if it’s pointless. Considering that she no longer feels that way with her new partner, it would be low key interesting.

Totally agree with you. I honestly hate it when people bring up the "their your family" "they are old and will not be there for long" and "you will regret it once they are gone" cards. Like yes, they are valid points but that doesn't mean that they should undermine your feelings too

If it helps, Kanada has had a traumatizing past where he had to hide his thoughts and feelings. It's not really that unusual for some people in that position to find more comfort in discussing their fears with friends before they bring it up with their partner (specially like in Kanada's case where the last time he was honest to his former crush, not only did he lose a friend, he unintentionally made the friend question all his pre-exidting morals).

Kanada has dating ptsd. The last guy he confessed to completely destroyed his confidence in the dating department.

Mashiro's manic behaviour stems from always pretending to be positive. His controlling mum has made it impossible for him to share his worries and he's one misunderstanding away from exploding.

Both guys need to break the other's walls in order to truly be with eachother.

If you watch it with "censored C-BL" eyes, it's kind of there with the older ML's character. It's not exactly sexual desire but more like he's obsession on the other guy goes beyond bromance at times? Kind of like emotional desire. From the younger partner's side, he does have a female BFF who he likes but it doesn't really last (and there's barely any romantic scenes with them except for one). He too is curious about the older ML since he has a dark mysterious past and this eventually causes alot of chaos. By the time the drama ends though it's clear that the the younger ML truly, deeply, (and may be madly) cares about the older ML too.

At one point the 2 were even practically co-parenting the elder ML's neice if it helps 🙈

The drama itself is interesting. The main focus is on the cases/ the older ML's past so bromance, obsession, and romance takes a backseat anyway. If you are into legal/ thriller dramas, it's worth trying 1-2 episodes may be?

I’m so used to her being the”caring” mum, it would feel weird now to see her play a toxic mum’s role. Think the most toxic she has been so far is in Prisoner of Beauty but even then she was mostly an airhead who doesn’t know any better than an actual vindictive person.
